    I for one am glad Neuvirth is wearing 34. That immediately shows me some character and sensitivity that may endear him to the fans. His stopping a blizzard of shots the other night will do it too.

    I want compensation. Buffalo gave Washington a legitimate starting goalie. The price/trade was imbalanced so Washington threw in a player. That player did not report. There needs to be compensation to level the trade. It should be a low round draft pick. For those not paying attention, Halak won for Washington last night. So Washington has already benefited from the trade.

    I'll give Murray props for being active yesterday. Outside of Neuvirth, I have not heard of any of the players he targeted. His resume is starting to fill out though: Carrier Stewart Mitchell Conacher Fasching Deslauriers Neuvirth Klesla At least we will have something tangible to evaluate.
