Found the perfect Sabres intro song. Actually I thought it was perfect before because BFMV is awesome, but it fits even better now with the whole BabCOCK debacle. This song screams nothing but attitude!!! Sorry I can't attach the video straight from my phone, but here goes. If this song couldn't fire up the team, then I don't know what could. If I was stepping onto the ice hearing this, I would want to demolish whatever was in my way!! The beats of the drum are perfect for an entrance and lights could be timed perfectly to that. And they could also show players faces to the drum beat on the jumbotron over and over. I could make this work great, so I'm sure some overpaid Sabres media dude with a Bachelors degree could do the same. I have this all figured out in my mind. I'm sure it sounds jacked up to you guys.

At least now BabCOCK can watch the Sabres kick his teams ass for the forseeable future. Apparently winning isn't as important to him as he made everyone think. Good riddance!

Malkin took out his frustrations with the way Eichel hung with him in the first game by elbowing him in the back of the head yesterday resulting in a penalty. And then the way he slapped the puck into the empty net from 10 feet to close it out was proof of how frustrated he was playing against the U.S. Can't stand that POS. I hope Canada kicks Russian ass today.

Milbury hates anything related to Buffalo. He's furious at the Orpik hit calling it "predatory". Orpik didn't purposely hit him with a shoulder or an elbow to the head, it was his biceps area that made contact. It was a brutal hit, but I don't think there was intent to injure. It's another case of a big guy hitting a smaller guy. Those hits are always going to be tough to judge. But because Orpik is from Buffalo, Milbury thinks it was dirty. If Chara made that same hit....he would be praising it as a clean hockey play.

Never realized how much I hate Montreal and all their Ole singing fans. They are a close second to Boston on my list of teams. Was really hoping Tampa was gonna close them out in Montreal.

When I was younger I used to drive a tow truck doing repos for used car dealers. Hated every single one. People usually aren't to happy when you take their car in the middle of the night, whether they are paying for it or not.

Calgary has a pretty impressive young group of guys. Monahan, Bennett, Johnny hockey, and the nastiness of Ferland. They should have a pretty strong core group for awhile. I now also know why Bieksa pounded Ferland at the end of the last game. He definitely doesn't shy away from contact....even when it's the opposing goalie in his way.

I wouldn't stop anywhere around Detroit to ask for directions. Long ago I had to flatbed a brand new BMW to a dealer in Bloomfield Hills. Looking at my map, it seemed Woodward Ave was the most direct route to where I needed to go from interstate 75. Mistake....after stopping for a red light and having my truck approached by many "locals"....I'll put it this way, it was the last red light I stopped for lol. When I got to the dealership and told them my route they all couldn't believe I went that way. But they did send me back to the highway a much more friendly way. That's my one and only Detroit experience. Buffalo should use the original version of that song, and then maybe they could also get Buck Nasty to sing the anthem.

I believe it was Backstrom that won it. Either way I now get to watch the better series between Calgary/Vancouver.

Obviously. I think Buffalo is the only arena that sings the Canadian anthem every game. Sabres have many fans from across the border. This is the game I was most looking forward to watching tonight and the Caps/Isles are in OT so I'm missing g it. Do you have Center Ice?

I also love when Detroit is about to win a game they crank Journey's Don't Stop Believin. The whole crowd sings "Born and raised in South Detroit". The Sabres need a go to song. Except when he's singing the Canadian anthem.

The anthem in Chicago sounds just like that for every game during the regular season as well. It's not the Madhouse on Madison for nothing.

I could watch Jim Cornelison sing the anthem every night. The decibels in the United Center during it sound deafening.

All I know is I can't for for the Sabres to make the playoffs again. The way Buffalo is being built, they will not be fun to play against. First time someone farts near their goalie, they are gonna know it was a bad move.

My favorite Louis CK bit is when he talks about the Boston accent. "People call it the Boston accent, it's not an accent, it's a whole city of people saying most words wrong. It's just stupidity in a massive region." And btw, I'm happier than a pig in to have Eichel. I like his bigger frame much more.

The Canucks/Flames series is downright nasty. These guys hate each other. Cheap shots, cross checks, slashes, running the goalies, boarding, charging, coaches being fined....in other words, I love it!!! And then tonight Bieska just pummels Ferland at the end of the game. I'm sure nothing will come of it, but Bieska should be facing some discipline for just dropping his gloves and pounding an unexpecting guy in the face.
