Lol, well I wasn't an adult when it happened, but I was 12 and lived and breathed hockey. I was with my friend and his family at their cabin in the Adirondacks when it happened. I remember it like it was yesterday. We were all going crazy....tears and everything. It was truly amazing.

Were you not yet around during 1980? Nothing will ever beat that year for US hockey.

I get your point. I just don't like the timing of the tourney, and I definitely don't like losing to Canada over and over. I'm still living in 1980.

I wouldn't care nearly as much as if the US won a gold or the Sabres won a cup. I watched all of 20 mins of this entire tourney. Could care less. Didn't even watch either US or Team NA when they were still alive. I might enjoy it more if it weren't played right before the NHL season started.

You would think Canada just won the gold in the Olympics. Glad to see someone cared about the tourney, because no one else did.

I'll happily disagree about the franchise QB subject. But I'm with you on everything else. What I'm trying to say is that there are a ton more misses than hits when it comes to drafting QB's basically. And the Bills haven't even come close since Kelly.

You're only point I tend to disagree with is drafting QB's. Its definitely a crap shoot. Way too many misses than hits on so called "franchise" QB's. The list is way too long to remember them all, but just a few I can think of are guys like Todd Marinovich, Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, Gino Toretta to name a few. And then these scouts miss on guys like Tom Brady who only come around once in a blue moon. For some reason a lot of these teams want mobile QB's who can extend the play or run when they have to. That's never worked in the NFL. You need a pocket passer with a quick release who can see the whole field, that's what wins in this league. Russell Wilson may be the exception. But you're right, 17 years is too long to keep swinging and missing.

QB's are more often than not a crap shoot anyhow. I don't know much about Kaaya, but I know Kizer had a hard time beating out Zaire for the starting job at ND. To me I see Watson as another Taj Boyd, great college QB but nothing more.

Unfortunately these guys aren't projected to be "franchise type" QB's. The 2017 draft class is pretty weak for quarterbacks, meaning the Bills will most likely have a top 2 pick for once. This team can't even lose right.

I was at the game last night and you're right, Gilmore and Darby were horrible, Gilmore more so than Darby. We were watching them in coverage and knew where Fitz was gonna go with the ball. That's how out of position they were all night. There was one play where Gilmore watched Marshall make the catch, then went to tackle him. He was standing two yards downfield from Marshall playing like he didn't want to get beat deep. He didn't even make an effort to defend the pass.

Teppo Newmenium is 10 years old?

For the first two games this season the Bills offense is 6/27 on third downs, have run a meager 97 total plays and have been in the red zone only twice. That's garbage.

Glad to see Hershey back on the schedule more than once this season.

Playoffs!! Most of all I want to see Lehner play a full season, Kane to get his cap together and very interested in what Kulikov brings. I'm hoping for a little nastiness from him.

Yeah, it's pretty sick. They were originally supposed to shoot the video in Sydney, Australia but couldn't work it out with Sydney Police. So they came to Buffalo. Not too shabby.

I'm not into this drifting stuff, but thought this was a very cool video shot around Buffalo. Starts at the old central train terminal and ends at the industrial waterfront.
