  1. You all figure out when you want the draft. I'm good for whenever as long as its after 7:30pm. That gives me enough time to get my son asleep, my wife set up with popcorn for the evening, and time to slug down a couple beers before we start.
  2. Yes. The Labatt Splats have made their triumphant entrance into the fantasy hockey world.
  3. But I deleted that thread... [/deflect blame from fellow mod]
  4. Open for Business... My complaint is with getting up at 5am. It sucks!
  5. Sorry to hear that man. My dog ran away and a random old lady called me yesterday from about 1/2 mile away. Luckily she came running home about 2 minutes later, but for about 10 minutes I had the fear of God in me. I can't imagine when the day comes where I have to walk in your shoes. I'll be thinking of you!
  6. It's over 100 degrees here, with the heat index over 110. I thank the gods of weather that I purchased new heat pumps for my house in april, but I hate the fact that my door knob burns my hand when I open the door. I hate that I cannot breathe outside, and I really hate being confined to my house in the middle of the summertime. super hot weather sucks.
  7. I hate when ignorant posters like you call out mods for sleeping on the job!
  8. Bump... and let the games begin. I would like to complain about one mundane aspect of life: the burned out tail light. I've had my car for 11 months now. It's fully warrantied, obviously, so this won't cost me a dime to fix, but seriously folks... My volkswagen gets nearly 50 mpg, and its emissions system is so good that even though it runs on diesel, it cleans the exhaust so well that it's impossible to commit suicide by running the car in a closed garage. All of this, plus bluetooth phone, sirius radio, auto windshield wipers, etc. yet, a 120 year old technology, the incandescent bulb in the tail light, burns out after 11 months? Really? Really! Whatever government lobbyist group that is mandating the use of incandescent bulbs over LEDs needs to burn a fiery death in hell caused by a short inside a 75/100/120w dimmer switch!
  9. I'm complaining that i've been so busy lately that I forgot to close this thread on Thursday!
  10. Nothing to complain about in the grand scheme... My wife and son are doing fine. Son is recovering from his circumcision downstairs. We're relaxing at home and I'm back from semi-retirement to open this thread. My only real complaint is that I have absolutely no concept of time right now, so if its not thursday, please close this thread!
  11. It's 6:40am... That's a complaint in and of itself!
  12. Nothing to complain about. Just cleaned house at a work sponsored baby shower for my wife.
  13. Thai food last night... I've been awake for 4 hours already, and i'm just now starting to feel normal!
  14. One of the smaller joys of my upcoming fatherhood is the prospects of setting parental rights on the computer and time limits on the router for specific devices. Life is going to be grand!
  15. I'm waiting on a friend to lend me his drywall sander thing that hooked to the shop vac. Honestly, it's almost done. I'm just sick of this project!
  16. Home improvement projects! I installed a new outlet with its very own dedicated 15 amp breaker as well as a bunch of cat5e so i can house all of my network stuff in the giant closet we have downstairs. After hours of fishing lines, drilling holes, and doing the typical sweating cause the jumble of wires won't fit down the hole, I got it all done. The electrical stuff and data stuff works like a friggin charm. My major complaint is drywall patching. Talk about a horrible, messy job! It's not even the patching... It's the sanding. I feel like i'm in a sahara dust storm here. I'll be happy when this sh-- is all done! Oh yeah, my wife was hell bent on getting one of those intex frame pools for her birthday in may. approximately 2 months and about $800 later in pool, water, chemicals, and supplies, I cut it down yesterday. The pump worked for about 3 weeks before it stopped pumping. Did all kinds of research, breakdown, tricks with the filter, etc. to no avail. Finally a couple weeks ago i drew the line in the sand and unplugged it and chalked it up as a learning experience. Since these sh---y pools don't even have an accessible drain plug (oh they do have a drain plug, but when its filled, the drain is half buried in the ground, making it totally useless). I just went at the liner with a pair of scissors. My lawn got a great algae water bath last night. Don't ever buy these stupid pools. Every time you want to impulse buy one of these things, put $500 into a pool fund, save up, and get the real deal. Literally, the biggest waste of money ever!
  17. I hate carpet cleaners. I am borrowing my neighbor's hoover cleaner, and its doing a good job on the baby room, but the byproduct is a chocolate milk like substance that makes me want to vomit. Also, why is the solution so damn expensive? Can someone please give me a good recipe? I've looked online and combinations of hot water, ammonia, and white vinegar are mentioned a bunch. I'd love to use it, but I don't want to go making this crap if it doesn't work. Also, the carpet is pretty much clean, its just extracting the sand/dust that's the problem. I could do 100 treatments and the water still would look like coffee with milk in it. People who don't think allergies are related to carpet dust, smoking, etc. should be thrown off of a bridge. I'd love to rip out all the carpets in the house, but we lack the funds for anything right now. I may just go buy my own cleaner and do the house once a month or so. But, I need a good recipe for cleaning solution. $15 for a quart of rug doctor stuff is absolute Bullpoop.
  18. If you want to get to 3rd line status, you need to post more. Think "quantity over quality". That's the motto of any decent message board and college students in a drive through liquor store!
  19. I took a screenshot of the setup. PM me your e-mail address and i'll forward it to you since picture attachments aren't allowed in the customer service forum
