Correct me if I’m wrong, but DG has never been a part of the playoffs as a head coach (obviously) or assistant coach in the NHL. He may be a good developmental guy but has no clue how to lead a team into the playoffs. The fact that he had one good year as a HC in the AHL is a non factor. Every squirrel finds a nut once in awhile…except in Buffalo!!

Well, lets see if we can turn Byram into another Montour and then ship him out for peanuts next year. I just don't get it. Arguably our best forward this year for yet another lefty d-man. So does this mean we have to count on Savoie, Benson and whatever top 5 draft pick this year as our #1 centerman next year? Aww what the hell, why not a few more years of developing at the NHL level.

Well, the good news is they’ll have plenty of time to get it finished before next season!

No need to apologize. It’s bad enough enduring the playoff failures this franchise has put us through over years, but the last 13 years are simply inexcusable. There are zero positives to lean on. We are left with the most embarrassing franchise in the history of the NHL and easily top 5 of any of the major sports ever. It’s impossible NOT to be negative.
