Until it's determined whether or not Terry actually said these things, I believe full operational control of both the Sabres and Bills should be given to Sabrespace members. This way the organizations can focus on "WINNING", not political speak. Why? Why is it dumb? We went to 1 AFC championship game, with a different OC, since we've digressed each season. We won't win a Super Bowl with the current set up, that's my opinion based on the last 5 seasons outcomes.

Watch the box when we have cook in the backfield, my wife and I were paying attention, 8 in the box, 1 or 2 drop back in zone, that should open a TE hook to the sideline with play action and a streak route drawing the safety deep. We were watching that.

I do like the softening up approach with the underneath game. I'm still baffled as to why Dorsey doesn't spread the field more and open the middle stretch routes for a TE or 2, or the quick cut and go up the sideline routes. So far it's been all short, but I concur, it's working so far.

That Milano penalty hurt this drive though. There is always something to clean up every season. This one is no different. I know the Jets D is tough, but I really cannot allow the Bills a crutch, they have a very talented offensive weapon stable, and a league top tier QB in his prime, I not only expect better overall performance, I demand it as a fan. Offense looks confusing. Is Dorsey still the OC? If so, I'd seriously consider firing his ass with these results.

I stand with LG. My guess would be a bridge at 6/6.5 X 3/4 yrs. Power is going to want to cash in the same as Dahlin did based on his consistency in play. Just a guess, but if the organization is pushing for 8 yrs, 8 mil AAV is very reasonable line of thought.

Announcing both the Dahlin and Power 8 yr contracts at the home opener would set the fans both at the arena as well as at home in to a rabid "Great, now slay the opposition with no mercy" fanaticism. I mean really, think about how Sabres fans would react if 5 or 10 minutes before puck drop of the home opener we find out both Dahlin and Power will be here for 8 years together. We'd be frothing at the mouth. I'd pity the opponent...... Without mercy of course 😉

Well, if Clifton doesn't click with our top 4, I'm going to guess Pesce could still be had in an in-season trade, if he'd allow it. I read somewhere he has a 15? No Trade List? If so it may be a moot point anyways. I believe the playoffs are a must this season for Adams. "We have heard the chimes of midnight, Master Shallow". The end is nye upon Adams rebuild the rebuild window. It is time.

I hope he does become an instant fan favorite. I'm still skeptical until I actually see him in action with our top 4. But I'm hopeful.
