  1. It’s abundantly clear that injecting youth en mass to an nhl roster with little veteran presence, those players that have not filled out their size frames yet, that are still maturing to the speed and decision making merger at the the nhl level, is a very bad idea.

There is also a very disappointing drafting ability on display here in Buffalo. I am certain some of these high 1st round draft picks career trajectories would have been much more positive, not only in development and eventual maturation with production, but also in leadership ability growth, as they more than likely would have been around a vastly greater veteran roster presence.

This organizations failure to identify this and course correct on it is on full display, in this fans humbled opinion.

I don’t know how you can sleep at night. I’m way to superstitious to jinx the living ***** out of my team and not feel wholly responsible when said prediction doesn’t come true.

KC is a two point favorite btw

From the 70’s and 80’s on through the 90’s and 2000’s I have never felt more confident, more certain, than I do now about 1 of our pro franchises.

50+ years of misery, of ripping the heart out of this fan bases chest moments will not sway what I feel about this current team. I feel it more than at anytime in all those decades.

Destiny Calls, and our Buffalo Bills will answer that call.

  3. We’d all like to see the Bills in the Super Bowl, but whatever happens, happens. Not since the 90 to 95 window have I enjoyed a ride like this for the Bills. 5 AFC East titles, exciting and satisfying, albeit sometimes maddening, sometimes heartbreaking playoff runs.

I’m loving these past half dozen years or so, even with the sad moments. We have one hell of an NFL team, led by a superstar QB. Screw the pundits and talking heads that sway Baltimores or KC’s way. We are going to kick the ***** out of the Ravens tomorrow, and pops and I will be there to be a part of that 12th man. Then, KC, Texas, it won’t matter as Josh and the boys put their cleets to the neck of whoever stands in their way.

This is OUR YEAR, so saddle up Bills fans, we are drawing a hardline, when the gun smoke settles we’ll sing a victory tune and we’ll all meet back at the local saloon. 😈

No snow...or wind really. Just cold.

Main issue at those temps will be ball security. Fumbles increase historically about 35% at those temps above normal and trh colder it gets, the harder it is to hold onto the ball for a few reasons.

First it gets slipperier because the material becomes more rigid and harder to hold on to.

Second, your hand grip strength becomes far less in cold weather.

Both teams would be smart to rip at the ball every chance they get.

Could be the difference in the game with how frequently Lamar likes to dance behind the line and avoid rushers/tacklers. If he isn't careful, that ball will be coming out more than usual.

Correct on ball security. And for some good news, Titans fans I speak with are saying Henry has real problems with cold weather games.

  5. My pops buddy isn’t going to make it back from his trip down south in time for the game. He offered his 50 yard line tickets to dad and I at cost. I didn’t wait this time, I told pops just now……”hey dad, Mike called me, we are going back to Highmark this Sunday”.

My pops let out the biggest “Yippeeeeee” I’ve heard from him in 2 decades, not since he got that 13 pointer back in 05 have I heard that from him. I looked up at the sky, not more that 5 minutes ago, and spoke to mom. I got him mom I said, the tears are still on my cheeks.

So it is, back to Highmark, to inspire our boys on, destiny is calling!!!

I am sure this has been covered on this board, but....

How can this organization justify having Rob Ray be an analyst?

As a player he couldn't skate, score, pass, win faceoffs, wasn't on the power play, penalty kill. He was an 8 minute  per game forward & a fighter.

What intellectual input does he add as a former player to mildly educate us about the nuances of the game or critique of it?

What makes it worse is he talks too much too.

It's a poor reflection on the organization. His comments some times are galactically stupid.

We were so spoiled with Jim Lorentz.

Rob Ray can be justified as an analyst, just ask Terry…..
