Unfortunate as this statement is, currently it is 100% correct. There can longer be those who deny the data available while attempting to counter it with any validity.
The Buffalo Sabres are, for intents and purposes, an AHL team. Various reasoning as to why this has come to pass, but the one constant.......inexperienced GM and Coaching staff. That, my friends, is undeniable, in my most humbled opinion.

Do I think they'll make the playoffs next season? As of right now, today, with the known existing roster and pipeline talent, no.
Do I believe they'll make the playoffs next season? As a life long Sabres fan that has come to not only accept the pain, but has actually turned said annual pain in to some twisted training regimen to practice my smart-assery with, ya, playoffs next season here we come!!!

Teams have these blow out losses from time to time. I'm not overly concerned about it. After all, we've known for a good portion of this season what this team was.
I guess the focus I have, or at least the question I'd like answered is when does this actually end? Over dozen years and counting, really quite amazing it appears to have no end in sight as of now.

Last night of my 12 hr 7pm to 7am shift. So I've missed the entire road trip so far. But, there is a silver lining, the shift hrs allow me to listen to the game via my phone, as long as my shift radio doesn't sqwuak for me to go fix something. So here's to hoping for a quiet night where the machine runs without a glitch, hasn't happened all week so far, but one can hope.
