  1. 8.6/8.7 x 8 and ink the man. His production drop is going to be minimal starting in 5 or 6 yrs imo.
  2. I'm more than positive both Botterill and Housley are going nowhere. They'll be given this off season and next season to fix this mess. I have very high confidence that is the case. The Pegula's aren't going to keep the revolving door going imo.
  3. Housley's frustrated, you can see it. Just do your job defensively. Check Better. Finish the opportunities. It's the same old stuff this team has been going through for years now. I am actually wondering if after every game you can find Phil early AM curled up naked in the fetal position in the corner of his darkened room crying and mumbling "you can't win in this league without playing defense, I've told them"
  4. I am looking forward to the next game, they are on a win one lose one roll, ?
  5. On a positive note, the odds for the draft lottery draw for us is stabilizing heavily. I think we have an outside shot at the 2nd or 3rd over all pick. I'd like to think San Jose and St. Louis both fall a bit. I'm already in "Next Season" mode ? Man this can get depressing if I let it, BUT...……………………..the ever optimist says the draft and off season will be good ones.
  6. Well............. "I liked our effort in the 1st period" "Thought we let the game get away from us in the 2nd" "They must learn to respect their defensive zone" "Played much better in the 3rd" "Can't dwell on it, have to focus on the next one"
  7. Been in Industrial Math class since 6. Hoping to get out around quarter after 9, missing a good showing I take it.
  8. Hope you gentlemen don't mind if I chime in on this. I agree with much posted here. My take on Botterill isn't really what he did in this specific deal, since I am not fully aware of what was going on behind the scenes that ignited Botterill to move ROR. My view is what he does this coming off season to fix this mess. I keep going back in my own mind to his interviews at seasons start through mid season including the deadline. With the rumors about Risto and the Montour acquisition I am beginning to suspect he was fully prepared to wait out this season and address the defense while waiting for a youngster or 2 to develop, namely Olofsson and Nylander. I'm not pushing aside the Berglund situation, only that it wasn't important enough one way or the other to Botterill to address it immediately I suspect. Is he disappointed in the seasons outcome? I believe he is, but I also believe the Pegula's silence on the situation is a nod of commitment to both Botterill and Housley. I strongly suspect they've given the ok to move forward with "their" plan.
  9. Apparently our developing minors players about to hit the AHL are doing very well. That UPL goaltender is fantastic, a kid named Weisbach? 7th rdr sophomore looks ridiculously good apparently and a couple others. Is there hope? I always like to think there is.
  10. It may be. And if it is, good on Housley I say. Just Win Boys!
  11. Another catastrophic 2nd period. Hard to even gauge we lost this game, because it was winnable. Oh well, on to the next. Come On Boys! Just Win!
  12. Puck battle lose, after Puck battle lose, and the story continues. This has to change. Come ON BOYS!!!!!! You can DO THIS!!!!!!
  13. Some times the suffering is so bad...……………………………….it's unbearable. This is one of those 9 year stretches...…………………………….and counting. All I can say, after going through the 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's and now on to the 20 is this, this to shall pass. But these 8 years since Pegula Sports Entertainment have taken over have easily become the worst in franchise history. Just poor decision making at nearly every level. It is what it is I'm afraid.
  14. And yet, you know neither will get fired, and we'll see Tage yet again, next season.
  15. Broken record. I've said it time and again, we can get better 4th liners. Although I do tend to give Larsson some due given his ability from time to time to agitate the opponent. But Girgs, yea, he's pretty much useless at this point and time.
  16. Montour was covering him, just not very well. No stick lift, body position was bad, that was a horrible goal.
  17. If Botterill chose him in that trade, as opposed to the other couple of prospects that the Blues had, I'm disappointed. If it was a no choice situation, I'm still disappointed Botterill made that trade. Not to drag the ROR saga in here, but come on Tage, you have to do better.
  18. Well, so much for that GOD IS WITH US 2nd period. But, as the ever optimist I have a good feeling about the 3rd, at least now that the wife is home. I'm sure I'll feel good ?
  19. Why bother, he's been invisible this game.
  20. Where is our first line? I expected more.
  21. lol, Kap and Erod lol well, that is actually a good trade off ? Sad, I know.
  22. I'm going to say Scandella based on the replay
