  1. Let me help you out here, I think you might need one of these: https://www.amazon.com/LOAAO-Farmhouse-Rectangle-Horizontally-Vertically/dp/B0C4H7Q262/ref=sr_1_8?crid=22YNHB3WEV08S&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3vvLHVCUQeDfBZVF39kddu6y8OADdLbygaccHDEGj5kfkQjnCkJt-Ivj85ueJCbFErUjiQdMVIr_HW1C6Ti0B5vFj12p9i6wBvByv5WcVdeNszckwTBDt1kb3_iY7ojmPgoG_hSy8R_ExcvGFJJFcxdlytgu2MkKYQ98ggfOWX_XIWZ5sxLveRf3fx1smBrUD2rDjsL7SEZYEd5ljHAZ6apbuxZ8bJ9AGgjzW1Nf52RWsVW035S-IkoCWatQ3GkivZEGZP3yeUzqIuqZnERgMj-gzzxbIqoHH69iFF8FUdc.CLYDU6Ax_eBOz29-gq-Io5XdGS5pqp03bJ2HKdUTXkc&dib_tag=se&keywords=mirrors&qid=1726445123&sprefix=mirrors%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-8&th=1
  2. Sounds like a signed by camp or something else happens kind of thing.
  3. He has to shave that moustache off first 🙂
  4. Well I don't see that but we will get a better idea when they play actual NHL preseason games with NHLers on the ice. Levi is in a separate category. I personally think he should start the season in Rochester with Reimer backing up UPL but if he shines in preseason maybe they make the move now and he is the back up. I think it's better he plays a lot first and then comes up later but Sabres often rush these things. He's in a separate category anyway.
  5. Every level is relative to that level. If you don't dominate at a lower level you don't make it to a higher level. By dominant I didn't mean he'd look like Dahlin scoring goals or something. I'm only talking about being a D man. But we shall see. These prospect challenges often don't really tell you much.
  6. He's fine in open ice but he struggles when the puck is around his skates. It's the awkward big man thing. Not sure how good he will be along the boards and in front of the net. We shall see. I think he needs a fair bit of time yet though.
  7. The thing is I don't see Ruff just taking the 12 best guys, I see him creating the 4 best lines. There's often a big difference in those approaches.
  8. Most likely. I'm just saying Kulich might press for a roster spot and force them to make a difficult decision. Benson played his way onto the roster last year. Kulich could force a decision. Might not, but he's the only one of them that I see having that chance right now. I was actually underwhelmed by him. He's good at that level, but he should be dominant if he was in any way ready to bump any of the starting 6 we currently have. He's not. Not even close.
  9. What? Who? This sounds like more clueless indecision.
  10. From these 2 games there are some interesting prospects but right now Kulich is the only one who might press for a roster spot on the Sabres.
  11. idk, Komarov is big but he skates really awkward at times and there's this hesitation in his game that makes me think he won't be able to handle NHL speed. Definitely needs more development imo.
  12. Or up. Greenway is an odd player and I will be interested to see what Ruff can get out of him. Well, given what they signed and how it looks, and given Ruff's comments about guys who chuck 'em and such I'd be pretty surprised if he follows a Granto mish mash structure and doesn't have a character/grit/crash/whatever you want to call it 4th line.
  13. That would be a huge mistake imo. You don't go out and purposely build a checking/crash line and then stick a young sniper on it. 3rd line might be up for some variations but I suspect that 4th line stays as is.
  14. Ya, that was what I noticed. Not just tall but big, beefy. He keeps developing he might be a good net front guy.
  15. A little fisticuffs in there for your entertainment. Maybe we have some grit prospects after all. Kulich clearlory shows the most skill. Is Whalberg as big as he looks or was it just relative to his linemates but he looks solid.
  16. I don't think there's ever been any question of that, the question is can he translate that to the NHL.
  17. Sure. No argument. Fully cooking your prospects is the way to go and we have rushed too many already and gifting roster spots is really dumb. Maybe we are there now, maybe not. Depends what we actually have on the NHL roster. I just don't think Rosen has what it takes. I could be wrong. Sometimes prospects come back from the summer and are completely different with different attitudes and they grow and things change. There are late bloomers. So you don't give up on him yet by any means, but my expectations for him are low to none. Kulich is a maybe. Helenius I still have to see.
  18. in HOCKEY. I don't think Rosen will be an NHL player. At least not a regular one. That's all that really matters.
  19. You're not seriously putting that measure forward for Rosen are you?
  20. Goalies are the tallest actually that's true. 6'3" average. Surprisingly (maybe) D men are only about 4-5 lbs more than forwards on average and an inch taller on average. I wish their was a stat for how young guys sized up in comparison but there isn't that I could find. In any event if Rosen is 176 lbs he's a lightweight. 20 lbs below average is a lot.
  21. 176lbs is not any kind of heavyweight.
  22. Better question, how did it get back to a Zegras (and his mullet) discussion???
  23. Exact? Source? I've seen a number of different numbers. 6'1.5" seems to be closest and 199 lbs but I did see over 200 as well < I think it's hard to be exact. regardless, Rosen is a lightweight.
  24. That seems pretty smurf-like to me. NHL average is over 200 lbs and at 6 ft. he should weigh more by now. Clearly isn't adding muscle.
  25. IFF we are looking at old guys I'd rather sign Matt Martin than Mark Giordano. (but really neither)
