McDavid extends for 2 years at $12.5m per year

He clearly took a hometown discount and is giving them extra money and two years to fill out the line up. -
In basically one off-season, NE all but caught up to the Bills and have the better coaching staff. Another offseason and the Bills could be the 2nd best team in the division. Beane is wasting a hall of fame QBs career. This isn’t just because of one bad game, but we own the record for the first QB with the stats he has, to never make it to the SB. Unprecedented. Our window was the .13 second game. That should have been our year. The rest has been rinse and repeats of the same thing. Any objective fan can see the gaping flaws in both the roster and the coaching. Mediocre defense and WR’s. Allen has just covered up these things because he’s THAT GOOD. Our FO has not made good enough decisions to get us over the hump. Just the facts.

Getting torched by Diggs is classic Buffalo sports. Embarrassing. BTW NE is going to probably win 12 games. They only play 2 more teams with a winning record. We finally have a good coach and another franchise QB in our division. There is a decent chance now we end up being a wildcard team.

Maye was making crazy plays and elite throws. They are one game back with a cakewalk schedule.
-
The Bills no longer have a cake walk into the division titles. Drake Maye is the real deal and Vrabal is a top tier coach. NE is back,
-
I predicted this when Vrable got hired. NE going to be a tough go every time from here on out. Bills are sloppy and the playcalling is horrendous. Need major adjustments.

First game I’ve seen this pre season. Looks like an exact repeat of last year as if I tuned in a random game from November. -
KC is getting healthy and rapidly returning to form. They were downright scary today.
-
Great series there. Cook. It’s not rocket science.
-
Agreed. Getting off script.
-
Worst quarter of the season. The playcalling is abysmal. Oline is a sieve. TE’s uninvolved and Cook doesn’t get the ball.
-
Hopefully we don’t have to get in a shoot out to beat the Saints. The defense is not very good so far.
-
Yup. Their defense is pretty good. They went up and down the field yesterday but 5 turnovers killed them and they still almost won the game. Not going to be a walk in the park.
-
I have no words. Josh Allen is all I can say.
-
This might be the worst defense I have ever seen. This team might go 9-8 this year. For the Bills.
-
Beane rolled out the same team. No wr’s that can get separation and the defense got worse. This might be a bottom 5 defense. Terrible coaching all around. They wasted one of the greatest QBs of all time so far. Wasted it.
-
Hopefully we go down and not up like this year. But yeah, this is a 75-85 point team next year.
-
The Sabres will be eliminated by thanksgiving yet again. Rinse repeat.

The offseason so far - Are the Sabres better?
Gatorman0519 replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I was hoping we would make a run at one of the top forwards knowing we probably would not. Looks like another 80 point season coming up. That roster has little chance of being a playoff team. Lots has to go right. -
Looks like another cost cutting season underway.

No. We switched tougher defense in exchange for goalscoring getting rid of JJ. 2 steps forward 2 steps back. 80 l-85 point team as is. -
OT: Change to Production of Sabres Broadcasts

The Sabres are the worst franchise in sports, and they want to insulate themselves from criticism? lol -
Hope is not a plan. That is the problem.
