    I'm not sure he was hated. I liked his grit and heart. That being said, I did yell "F'ing Weber" at the TV several times over the years.

    I agree but for the right price. An albatross contract for McGinn is not in the best interest for the franchise. What do they offer him? What do you think he wants?

    My personal feeling is that he could have used the All Star Break off... But what do I know. He definitely logs a lot of minutes. The good news is that others have picked up where he dropped off. Go for the Eichel jersey.

    I've been critical of Lehner and his ability to be our #1 but he played lights out last night. A couple of those saves were pure robbery. AND I loved his crazy eyes after the scrum with Johnson. The insane Viking look works for him. How about Sam? He's going to be a special player for Buffalo.

    He's 32-39-14 for his NHL career with a 2.86 GAA. Not stellar. He's got two season with injuries. I'm sorry you don't agree with my rush to judgement but I think we got fleeced on this deal. Time will tell. He's big and clumsy, freezes when he loses sight of the puck. Johnson is just as capable (IMO more capable). I guess what gets me is TM was drunk with 1st round picks so he used one carelessly. I'd rather have a late round prospect in the system than a head case goalie that inspires no confidence in the team in front of him.
