Sure, carolina has a 3 games to 2 lead, but this reminds me of the 1997 carolina series. remember after game 5? We had a team of ragtag misfits, rookies, and a drunken quack all world goalie who happened to be injured... Not to make sh-- smell like roses, but things turned out all right for buffalo in that series. Win tomorrow, and its all or nothing in game 7. Win big tomorrow and buffalo has all the Mo. Cam Ward will start in goal, teppo may or may not play. fitz, janik, and jillson will be playing their 3rd straight game together, gaining confidence. miller is way pissed off... all things lead to a sabres victory tomorrow, and i'll expect nothing less. However, if things don't turn out rosey for the sabres tomorrow, i'm sure we'll all survive. this has been one hell of a season, that will at least go till thursday night!

This is dissappointing knowing that we have no depth at D and Reiger sat on his ass.
Please list them and who you would have given up to get them...
This game is what it is: an off night. If it was due to the play of the Canes, we're in trouble. However, I seriously doubt it was the Canes that caused the Sabres to have the tough night.
All we need to do is win all our home games...

4-1 is 4-1, no matter how you cut it. we were outshot, out special teams, but we were not out scored and that's all that matters! It's not how many numbers you get, its getting her to spend the night!

Utter domination with the exception of a fart for game 4, period 1 and 3. Now, lets relish in this for at least 24 hours... Remember, we weren't able to relish after the philly series due to the montreal OT game that ended about 16 seconds after the flyers series.
Get some rest, and GO SABRES!

When I saw Gary Bettman in the stands, i figured there would be a parade to the penalty box.
I'm guessing these Refs are done for the year or a least reprimanded...

- Dont harass me too much for this, but there were multiple times were Senators were tackled football/rugby style - and there was absolutely no call on the play, especially in the third - however, i dont believe that would have made a difference because Ottawa's power play looked like crap - and Buffalo was playing possessed on the PK.

I thought the whole game should have been called better, myself. The refs whistles were intermittent at best.

Do you have Java? you will need that enabled to use the chat. It doesn't work through a proxy server either, and you might want to temporarily disable your firewall. you can work out the bugs with your firewall later when a game isn't on.

Dude, Connolly just got effing destroyed open ice. I'll have to watch some replays of that one to see if Schaefer threw the elbow on that one. Looks like Timmy's gonna be done for a while, I hope to god he didnt get another concussion but it certainly appears that way

If Emery let in a bad goal tonight, regardless of who wins tonight, Buffalo will win the series.
I think the Sabres learned a big lesson in Philly about what happens when you let up. But, these are not the Flyers, either. Sabres, 3-2 in OT.

Nolan's coaching job especially during this series is the main reason why I had no problem with his dismissal. He was great duing the regular season, but I think that he got a little too emotional.

You could definately see it coming by the 10:00 minute mark of the third...
