MODO Hockey

Slept like a baby, so happy i didnt do my best to stay up from a long hard week of work. Id say we will lose 5 out of 7 now and we should be happy if we do, cause Phil has no ***** clue.

Phil would never behave like this obviously, and he uses words that in a way is inappropirate for sure but he delivers the message. This is what active coaching is to me, sometimes you need to wake the guys the fk up and tell them to make use for their million dollar contracts. Sometimes it wont work, sometimes it actually does work and there is where Phil fails. I remember a coach we had in MODO during the 90's, he did not stand behind the players, he stood infront of them, he looked into their eyes and litterly scremed to them to shape the fk up and go out there and score. He litterly showed them how important their job was and that there was no excuses what so ever, he drilled them hard and made them realise that all games is important, all minutes out there, boy he litterly told the goalie to remove his mask so he could see his face when he told him to wake up. He was rough against the players, but when the season ended the players told media that they really got a lesson for life and that they were sorry it took them so long to actually realise the importance of, that most normal working people pay their salarys to get something more out of their hard lifes and that its a deal of give and take, not just take.

This is where Phil.H is absolutly worthless, active coaching is no where to be found. God, he needs to go. Honestly this coach doesnt know how to coach hard, to me it looks like he does the math pregame and then go with that 110% no matter what. Someone always gets the blame for a loss, it is what it is, but to me Phil is not the coach i wanna see behind our boys.

Zucca is getting old, but a hell of a player. Seen him since youth, he played infront of Linus Ulmark in MODO. Played a sick line with former NYR Nicklas Sundstrom and Per Age skroder. Their line is one of the most feared in MODO history, they had such amazing chemistry. I would love to see Zucca with Reinheart and centered by Sean Couturier, but hey.. dreams are what they are, dreams.

What i dont like with Phil is his passive coaching, then again im not coach, he is. I miss active coaching in a way that you split formations depening on how the players perform, not always but sometimes i see that he keeps playing same formations without any change, eventhough you can see that some players are way more effective in a certain game than others. Same with SO, i want to see them who has been on fire in the game on the SO, not the same players every single SO. Also lack of timeouts, ive never seen Phil take a timeout in the 2nd period for example, correct me if im wrong. That is active coaching to me aswell, you see something is wrong, take a short break and tell the players to shape the fk up. Phil to me is a very passive coach and i do not like it.

If you are happy, i am too. But yea, as u know i might be the one that sometimes blames his efforts the most but that is just between me and him, i know for 110% what he can achive if he just somehow finds his real mojo over there. To be the best at what you do you also must create the best enviroment around your life on and off the ice, if he finds that, he will prove to everyone what he really can do as a goalie. Last night was just a glimse, how he can handle stress is amazing and one of the keypoints to success

Looking at highlights im seeing Linus Ullmark coming closer to what he really is. He is the next king, just need to step some sh1t up and he will be alright. He almost got it now

Solution for this issue is simple. Bring up Victor Olofsson, problem solved.
