If we could complement Risto with a very good defensive partner i would keep Risto by any means Risto has some really good offensive talants together with his toughness, he is good with getting under the skin on players. Unless we complement Ristolainen with a good partner he will keep looking bad more than good, his value is most likely pretty high anyhow

"Look, ROR scored OT winner for St louis 11th straight win, told you so!" St louis started really bad, as Buffalo were playing really well. Buffalo had 10 wins in a row, St Louis had what was it, 7 straight losses and were dead last(?) Where were your posts about ROR then? These are just pathetic exuses, to somehow exuse your own dissatisfaction. So please stop, because you cant tell the future no matter how much you would like to. Yes, we could have done great with ROR and Kane still in the loop, but we could also done just as bad as we are now, nor i or you know the facts of this. It is what it is with Buffalo Sabres, obviously, and has been for ages now. Eventually it will probably turn around This team needs real men with manners, real captain material is what we need and dont have. This team is really hurting because noone tends to lead them, Jack is way to young imo, eventhough it looks like he is trying. For me i have taken a step back, have not watched last 2 games and i will not watch the rest either becuase it tends to piss me off more than trying to stay positive, which is really hard because im seeing the same ***** happening to Buffalo Sabres as what happened with MODO Hockey, and it started from the top with MODO Hockey, it wasnt the players, it was the club it self that lost the red thread within, and that gave the result year after year on the ice no matter how good players got recruited. To be successful you need to build from within with passion and faith, patience and trust, and that is what i believe Jbot is doing. I want Phil gone, but if Jbot believes i will believe, cause if he manage to make this red thread work all the way down to echl, it will eventually give us what we need. Buffalo Sabres has my heart for sure, its just that this season hopes are way to high for most of us, atleast for me.

Yea i logged out and closed the game i think 5 mins into 2nd period, it was so obvious that they would lose. This team is in a really bad spot, there is no confidence in this team at all. Boston and Carolina won their games to, and i can pretty comfortably say that this team is now officially off the playoffs. There is no way in h3ll we reach playoffs with this garbage team. Linus was really bad to and that didnt help. Im gonna take a break from the games, this team has lost their heart, and i for sure wont spend my hours getting up in the middle of the night to watch this pathetic team play. Been doing it for years now, time for a pleasant break.

Next year is always a different story, to be fair im sure the goal for this season is playoffs but looking at it relisticly theres no way we reach that goal to be fair. Were not strong enough, but it sure looks good for next season if we can build on this.

That's Linus alright, for sure. He got it all, just a matter of time i hope until he manage to fit everything together perfectly. If he does, which i believe, he will be the new king, no doubt.
