I disagree. I too need corrective lenses, but different prescriptions for different folks I guess. I think that without ego, someone would be able to accept a simple spelling correction as a harmless thing and wouldn’t find it necessary to repeatedly tell someone they were wrong for presenting the correction. Without ego, they also would not feel it necessary to then create a thread title with an intentional misspelling in order to visibly perpetuate the issue. It feels rather targeted to me personally, I can only assume because I took a stand that differed from the OP’s opinion. That is how I view the situation.

By the way, nice effort @nfreeman, but it seems that I have not been sufficiently disciplined yet.
-
I suggest getting your vision checked. What do you think it is that’s throwing everyone off of the main point?
-
Yeah, when the thread title is used to take backhanded digs at other posters, it’s generally going to distract from the actual topic.
-
I think it was real.

It could have been fun loving from the start. I was not the one who made it a big thing. To answer your questions, yes, everything is ok, but no, I don’t feel that it’s just fun now. Yesterday’s interaction left me sour. I remain sour on the subject.

Yes, you do have some reading to catch up on. You will find that correcting spelling errors is severely frowned upon. Please avoid this cringy AF behavior in the future.

KEEP HIS NAME OUT YA F****N’ MOUTH!!!

Maybe he just doesn’t want to sign with the Canucks. Boston kid.

Is Quinn’s defense really a problem? Rochester defense as a team is terrible, is it not just that making him look worse? I’ve always heard that he was pretty good defensively.

This was not the mainstream narrative around Laphrenyay leading up the draft. -

Seems that it was some other people who were having a hissy about a spelling correction. You are unhappy that I posted it and unhappy that I deleted it. Makes sense. I suppose I learned that if I’m going to correct someone’s spelling 1) don’t 2) if you do, you need to be extra gentle about it 3) don’t. -

I deleted all my posts. My comment was obviously not interpreted in the way that I intended. Enjoy your thread. Spell things however you want. -

1) this is needlessly mean. 2) He is only 20 years old 3) He is on a 5 game point streak. -
I don’t know what to tell you. I know that emojis on Twitter are pretty much the gold standard of seriousness, but maybe try to interpret that as less than an iron clad declaration. If you want to dismiss everything he says, you can, but it’s a fact that he has broken stories.

I doubt he said “Eichel is being traded to the Ducks”. He may have said that he thought the Ducks made the most sense or that he thought Eichel would go to the Ducks. The main issue I see with people getting upset about Chad tweets is that they don’t discern between when he says he was told something, and when he is just giving his own opinions.
-
No idea what you are talking about. I don’t use Twitter.
-
He kind of does, sometimes. He isn’t just a guy who tweets out charts on Twitter. He is a credentialed media member. He sits in the press box. He knows people in the Sabres organization.
-
That’s the one. It’s possible that I heard Lance say it, and Chad never even said it. My memory is not what it was before my baby was born 7 months ago.
-
1) Good point! 2) I’m nooootttt. Quit yellin’ at me! 3) Chad knows Jack Eichel. But really Chad is ok. You just need to understand that when he gives his opinion that it’s really just his opinion. But he does occasionally hear things from people who actually know things.

No doubt.

Yeah, I did also think that it was probably because that might be NE’s only game. That’s why I said I was kind of joking. I understand that YOUR answer to the question of how to get all three young goalies the games they need is to trade UPL, but that might not be Adams’ answer to the question.
-
For their biggest games of the season, who did Adams go watch? Power and Portillo? No, he went to watch Levi. Sometimes Dad doesn’t need to come right out and say that he likes your brother better. You can just kind of tell. Kind of joking there. Kind of. Adams took over the job with UPL and Portillo already in the system. He inherited them. Levi, he went out of his way to acquire. Does Buffalo have room for 3 goalie prospects at the same time? With 2 of them being at the same point in their trajectories? Do they feel they can get them all the games that they need? I think Chad DeDominoces threw this out there that Portillo was a potential trade chip on his most recent podcast. Not that I think he has any actual inside info on that.

1) No. It’s not a choice, as far as I know, the conditions are already set. If it’s 11-32 Sabres get it, if it’s 1-10 Knights keep it and give Sabres their 2023 1st. 2) The Knights won’t fall that low. It’s numerically possible, but realistically they would need to lose like 13 of their last 15 games or something.
