He sometimes comes across as cranky and whiny. If the Sabres were better I don’t think this would be the case. He also has been the Sabres best offensive player over his time here. In better circumstances, that’s enough to endear yourself. That said, I don’t feel an emotional attachment to him.

Cool. Although a young defenseman and “high draft pick” could mean a lot of different things, with a wide range of values.

I’m also surprised at the number of people who have completely turned on Jack, who, apparently is just the worst. I think it’s a coping mechanism of sorts.

I honestly think he is just talking about the #1 pick. There is no guy who stands out head and shoulders above the rest like there sometimes is. Wright, Bedard, McDavid, Matthews.

After the 2021-22 season, Eric Portillo will be viewed as Buffalo’s “future in net”, and UPL will be viewed as a question mark. Unless they draft a goalie in the 1st round that is.

It’s definitely a boldy take. Rossi and Boldy are definitely top of the group. There are a lot of other quality prospects though. Addison, Kusnutdinov, Beckman, O’Rourke are guys I like a lot.

Good point. Forgot about the draft thing. But all the stuff about skill with grit, tough skill, all that stuff is definitely Rossi and Boldy.

The idea is to express an opinion that you believe, but you think most others would disagree with, or find to be bold. Power at #1 is not bold.

I think that you underrate punctuation and capitalization.

Kevyn Adams was an NHL player for a decade and won a Stanley Cup. I think it’s a little silly to suggest he is clueless about how pro teams come about have a specific culture. Im sure he also knows better than us what time and space he has been given to do with the team what he will. Also, what is the difference between creating a culture, and developing a culture?

I said the one with IMPRESSIVE plays. I’m just fooling around, but seriously it’s not particularly impressive, and there are a couple plays in there that I would actually consider bad plays. It does do a decent job of showcasing the best facet of Power’s game, his transition offense.

I have one simple question. Where is the Owen Power highlight package filled with impressive plays?

If the Sabres acquire another 1st round pick, it would be a good idea to draft a goalie. Wallstedt or Cossa.

I doubt that very much. This is just a move to help the team out. Seattle isn’t taking him and Skinner seems to want to stay close to home very much. Maybe you were just joking around though.
