Coming back to this again. I love this guy’s format! This is something that is really missing from the publicly available stuff on hockey prospects. The way that aspects are discussed specifically and in detail promotes actual discussion. It’s something that Scouch also does well, though he breaks up the skills in a different way.

About half of that is from this past seasons neck injury, which is a significant concern. Apart from that, I think Eichel has been reasonably healthy, but not the picture of health.

I would judge it as getting a former 2nd overall pick, whose career has been hampered by migraine issues which can hopefully get sorted out, for one season of Risto.

You should try those numbers again.

If no one wants him for a reasonable price before the expansion draft, for the exact same reason we could say it’s stupid to trade him right after, then there is only so much you can do.

Gotta make sure you take a Rasmus with the draft pick too, we have quotas to keep up after all.

He sometimes comes across as cranky and whiny. If the Sabres were better I don’t think this would be the case. He also has been the Sabres best offensive player over his time here. In better circumstances, that’s enough to endear yourself. That said, I don’t feel an emotional attachment to him.

Cool. Although a young defenseman and “high draft pick” could mean a lot of different things, with a wide range of values.

I’m also surprised at the number of people who have completely turned on Jack, who, apparently is just the worst. I think it’s a coping mechanism of sorts.

I honestly think he is just talking about the #1 pick. There is no guy who stands out head and shoulders above the rest like there sometimes is. Wright, Bedard, McDavid, Matthews.

After the 2021-22 season, Eric Portillo will be viewed as Buffalo’s “future in net”, and UPL will be viewed as a question mark. Unless they draft a goalie in the 1st round that is.

It’s definitely a boldy take. Rossi and Boldy are definitely top of the group. There are a lot of other quality prospects though. Addison, Kusnutdinov, Beckman, O’Rourke are guys I like a lot.

Good point. Forgot about the draft thing. But all the stuff about skill with grit, tough skill, all that stuff is definitely Rossi and Boldy.

Minnesota’s best prospects do seem like Adams’ type of players.

Why not? Just for fun. In my mind, they would match up alright. Or you think that they are too much alike? (Both’s strength is transition) Though Power’s offense is better.

The idea is to express an opinion that you believe, but you think most others would disagree with, or find to be bold. Power at #1 is not bold.
