I love having two 1st round picks. That was a great get for Regier. Especially if he can package them together and move up in the draft.

Who's opinion would you trust more, the Canucks front office or the Sabres? I'm not saying Hodgson will be a bust. I think the Sabres gave up too much of what they are already low on for a player that seems like more of what they have already.

He played 1:50 per game on a very good power-play. The kid is not void of talent, you have to weigh it against what a Kassian can bring. If both players maximized their 'potential", Kassian would be the more prized prospect.

Oddly enough I was going to praise Regier for the return for Gaustad, in typical Regeir fashion he doesn't know when to quit while he is ahead.

I doubt that. This is a prototypical Sabres type player. Some offensive ability, some size that he doesn't use. He a hybrid of Roy and Stafford, two players that fans would love to drive to the airport. This has the potential of being another Leino type move. You're taking a kid that looked good surrounded by Vancouver's talent, now he is playing with a roster full of limited offensive ability. I am more impressed by getting a first rounder for Gaustad. This move, I'd rather have Kassian.

Not a a bad week, not great either. House of Quinn had a nice week and is currently sitting 12-4-3 and currently 9 points out of the final playoff spot. Status Quo went 7-7-5, firmly in the division lead, lost ground on #1 overall. 67's went 9-6-3 holding on to second in the Adams Division and currently the fifth seed. Final two games against division leaders, no time for a slump.

Here's to making it two in a row. :beer: Four weeks left in the regular season. If I am going to make a move for the division lead it has to start this week. Three of my final four games are against division leaders, it is going to be a tough road. Tough week against Taro's Terrors 7-6-5. Much better week in Blue.
