  1. From where I and you sit true. But where the organization sits. Well not sure. I do wish covid wasn't keeping arenas empty and ownership could have seen the effect on attendance. As it is they took a loss but didn't see it visually by empty seats. Plus this fan base seems to be very forgiving. Not sure our small sample size on this forum is mirror image of overall fan base.
  2. And, I would guess, several million dollars in contract. Which, I know, we fans don't want to hear but we're still paying RK.
  3. Okay. High risk whoever we hire I suppose. We know Granato and at least seen him over twenty something games with depleted lineup.
  4. That risk is there in any case. Unfortunately.
  5. Agree. But I think Granato has done as well as I could expect to this point. If what you mean by Jack and fanbase means just hiring a "name" to keep the fanbase think Rex Ryan. How did that turn out. Bottom line Iine I think Granato has earned high consideration. If Gallant or someone such as him is hired okay but performance gets back to players also. No coach wins without that base.
  6. I think I've pretty much become a supporter of retaining Granato. One, think he good for young players and we're a young team. Two, he hasn't given me reason not to want him and the devil you know is better than the one you don't. Finally I don't see high risk especially if it's a shorter term show us a full season type contract. Wonder if he'd except one year deal or two.
  7. Could be but not only because of him. Teams win and teams lose. Pittsburgh can score and I expect they will.
  8. Or they get him cheap. They should because he's terrible.
  9. If you say so. Who said all time Sabre. By the way he was a good captain and I wish we had more players like Chris Drury. Go back and watch the films.
  10. He did what? Honestly I don't know where you're coming from.
  11. But he left. Let's have a pity party and hate him forever. Seems there are differing opinions on who was to blame on his leaving. But great player for us I agree.
  12. Drury hate is keeping with a Buffalo tradition. Buffalonil has come out of nowhere to lead the sour grapes campaign against Drury. Who was not only a great player but seems very well respected for front office material. Drury leaving Buffalo was a Buffalo front office screw up.
  13. By all accounts Drury has respect and well regarded. Buffalo sour grapes aside.
  14. We don't need goon retaliation if the league would do it's job. They allow it because the players association and the league can't police it. These fines are a joke. Long suspensions should impact players financially or they won't do any good. This is a league problem and shouldn't have to depend on players retaliation.
  15. Skinner defenders? Skinner defenders? Did you say Skinner defenders?????
  16. Did you see his last comment. Trade for the best offer? We did that remember? The ROR trade! No thanks.
  17. Skinner defenders? Skinner defenders? Did you say Skinner defenders?????
  18. Which moves needle more toward Granato.
  19. I don't think I can find much here to disagree with. I think KA should still look at all options but if they decide on Granato I'll have no problem with it. If they had handed him the job immediately after letting RK go, then I'd have had a problem but this team has responded to DG as well as I think we could have expected with anyone else.
  20. The league better start getting control. Why am I sceptical.
