My man, sometimes when all a goalie can establish, consistently, over the 10 year period since being drafted, *is* a pattern of an insufficient body of work, (with poor numbers this season, to boot), that data needed to form a likely conclusion *is* sufficient. It just starts to become very unlikely all of these failures to launch are really just circumstantial the more they occur and are committed to record. It becomes a compelling pattern. Comrie can force his way in if he’s good enough. I’m not prioritizing giving him a look over winning days gone by

I will be *highly* disappointed if the messaging pre-season isn’t clearly pointed towards making the playoffs being the focus. The messaging this past offseason clearly pointed towards evaluation/development year for this current season, so I’d like to see that specific change. It’s definitely time. Ya the “he’s here if he wants to be” thinking only makes sense to me because of the above. It wouldn’t be very feasible if he wasn’t pretty good at what he does

Someone with as few nhl starts as he he did coming in..I think the hope was he’d improve if given a shot to play a lot. Maybe development is the wrong word: let’s use evaluation. I’m glad they aren’t using the games to evaluate Eric Comrie
