  1. It’s not as much about Eichel falling into the perfect situation (ya, I understand their team needed someone to be their new best player), it’s more about how much better Eichel is than VO, like just as hockey players. It’s a bad comparison because Eichel was finishing top 10 in mvp voting while a Sabre, and VO was…a one dimensional player who only played well when Eichel carried him around on his line Eichel merely continued to round out the 200ft game he already drastically improved in 19-20 with the Sabres….Olofsson would need polyjuice potion
  2. Jost with the apple already proving an immediate upgrade on VO
  3. Preach I’d settle for a Beater
  4. I bet you anything once he scores, he’ll be on a tear for a bit - - - survey says: we pick up a W tonight
  5. Brad Dourif lends such an exceptional, unheralded performance to that film
  6. You’ve collected roughly 15 awesome emojis for posting the lineup 3/4 times lol that is to say: I think people are quite done with Olofsson
  7. Always look forward to awesome competitive October baseball. This has NOT been that. Combined records of series winners / teams leading series if Texas holds on today: 22-2 that is INSANE. boring. Series scores: 2-0 2-0 2-0 2-0 3-0 3-0 3-1 3-1 2-0* Yikes *pending today’s Houston /Texas result
  8. If this is the case, I’d probably take at least a swing at switching VO out for the best looking rookie. I’d sacrifice the guys losing a bit of camaraderie
  9. Ok, well then my answer to the question under those parameters is that I’d keep VO on the roster as I trust KA’s evaluation skills. He sure looks right on Benson. I like the swaps he’s made, so, I don’t believe I have any issues with his skills as a negotiator. (Not to mention, the contracts). Also, more evidence of strong pro scouting. I suppose if I had a guess then, based on the results achieved thus far and subject to change at the drop of a hat based on such, I’d say I merely have a strategic difference with Adams. If we were playing chess, I think I’d be a fair bit more willing to make sacrifices to get what I want.
  10. Why do we think Adams rostered Olofsson?
  11. True enough. But it was only temporarily closed for renos, that’s why I got Chinese
  12. For goal scorers next game I’ve got Benson, Krebs, Power, and Cody Franson
  13. Re: Tage Thompson Last season, Tage had 12 streaks of 2 games or more where he didn’t register a goal Tage was goal-less in 44 of 78 games played: 56%. The majority of Sabres hockey games, Thompson did not score. He finished 6th overall for goals this is sorta just how goal scorers do and how math does in a broader sense it’s why McDavid doesn’t win the cup build a great team!
  14. Yep. If a young guy is the best option, he should play. Granato has to do the best he can with the options Adams left to him
  15. He’s trying very hard, and his strategy has been successfully implemented, and maintained whether it’s objectively successful relative to the league remains to be seen
  16. if you want more detail than this you’ll need to find someone much smarter
  17. We should be aiming higher than yet another rookie under the “next man up” strategy If a rookie truly represents our best option..that’s even worse
  18. The bold is assuredly not good, but the rest is well-said
  19. I agree. If we are good: full credit Adams If we are bad: Adams couldn’t have done any better It’s a good point
  20. Picked up right where he left off as the best player in the league from last year’s playoffs
