  1. 25-30 games would be ideal in my opinion.

He did really well in the games he got into last year and deserved more starts.

I don't know enough about the Sabres' Team D or PK to guess what his save % would be but if they play half decent D, a .920 sv% wouldn't surprise me at all.

Great in the room and everyone says you couldn't meet a nicer guy. I wish him all the best except against us.

It’s true that they could get a lot at the deadline, theoretically.  It’s going to be an excruciating situation though.

I expect that the Flames will still be a good team.  I think they will be a playoff team.

If it’s coming down to deadline and they are in playoff position but haven’t made progress towards a contract with Huberdeau/Weegar, what do they do?

Can they really justify selling those guys to ownership or to the fans if they are a playoff team?

    They have to trade them.

If  you are the GM, would you like to lose 2 more players?

The Flames are going to have the same issue retaining Huberdeau and Weegar that they had with Tkachuk though.  Both are only under contract for 1 season.

They can get a LOT for them at the TD if they aren't going to re-sign.

    Huberdeau should bring a king's ransom...at least a 1st, a 2nd and an NHL ready young player.

    Weegar is a top 4 RHD, he'll get a 1st plus.

So, at least 3 firsts, a 2nd a young player and Schwindt for kachuk and a conditional 4th.

  4. Mrs. Bullwinkle was in a water hole beside the road cooling off and getting away from the insects on the way home. We took pictures and filmed her for about 5 minutes before a vehicle scared her and she went swimming away.

  5. A buddy that I grew up with duck hunting is visiting from BC and we went out the other day for some walleye.

We had a great day on the water and he said he forgot how green our greenbacks are and what nice looking fish they are.

They are an irridescent green and look beautiful when they first come out of the water.

The picture is him with his limit for that day.

So Vegas is apparently very interested. I would love to see that. Eichel and Trotz how would that unfold? Diva gonna hate that and he will either finally get it and be transformed into the great player he should be OR more likely he will be shipped out of town. Makes for an interesting scenario either way.

Not much of a prospect pool (Vegas) and about to enter cap hell.

I think it's between Winnipeg and Detroit.

I don’t see Scheifele being a fit with Trotz. Then again, if Ovie could adapt, perhaps he can, too.

If Scheif doesn't start playing both sides of the red line, I hope he is gone next season.

If he decides to play D a bit, I am okay with him being on the team but he was a liability this season.

Lots of turmoil in the Jets' room and rumors have it that they are centered around his lack of gaf.

If Trotz signs here, we'll probably be a playoff team again and that is all that I want. Missing the playoffs suck big time.

I see him deciding between Detroit and Winnipeg unless someone offers him a job in management.

Might as well be there.  As long as he's out of the east, it's good.

Do you really think he'd join on out there at the beginning of the rebuild?  (Presuming that's the direction they're heading.)  You think they might just retool on the run?

Retool, but I would surprised if he signed here.
