  1. Good win but this “kind of goaltending” would be impossible to sustain in the playoffs. UPL was absolute riddled with pucks in the third period. 21 SOG in one period is absolutely unsustainable for a goalie, especially if they’re playing every other day. UPL fended off 17 SOG in the 3rd period of the Aves game. In the last two games he started, he faced 84 SOG. there is no way this team survives the first round if they got into the playoffs. UPL did play outstanding and hopefully he is turning the corner. Time will tell 🤞
  2. Other than being cold, it was almost perfect weather. Of course it’s not going to bother them. Whats BS is that recovery wasn’t reviewed. Gay literally pulled out of the Texans players ass.
  3. JUST WIN! Unfortunately I won’t be watching full time because of the NFL flexing the Bills game to tonight. If UPL starts, hopefully he’ll play like the other night🤞
  4. Nope. Adams wants players that “wants to be here”. https://www.buffalohockeybeat.com/strong-message-sabres-kevyn-adams-wants-people-that-want-to-be-here/
  5. They are currently hovering. We will see what happens from note to April.
  6. Jost was an NHLer, cecconi is a career AHLer. He just wanted to come home and ask for a trade so that checked off the “wants to be here” box.
  7. That is your opinion but we don’t know if it’s Adams. We’ve said that for a few years but it hasn’t happened. They have remained at the bottom of the standings. If they move up to the middle of the standings but just miss the playoffs is literal progress.
  8. Would that show the team has progress? Yes especially if the season remains closer to the bottom than the top. that would show his plan is progressing at a steady pace. Obviously that could change if this season continue to progress quicker than expected.
  9. I think year three is winning consistently (on both side of the puck) vs shooting for the playoffs for Adams. Obviously winning consistently should put you in a better position to make the playoffs but I think Adams would be happy with being on the bubble. If Thompson continues riding his rocket ship to the stars & the team wins consistently on both sides of the puck along with showing organizational stability, that will go along way for Adams to court higher end players.
  10. Well, at the moment, Adams is in no rush. He’s convinced the Pegula’s and the fan base that the need time to evaluate and develop the young players. That bought adams about 3 years which will be after next season.
  11. They talk highly of Tage but the first half was painful when they were talking about what happened at barstool sports
  12. I think Adams isn’t going to go out and get a big name goalie. I think he hoped that Comrie/UPL would be a good stopgap until the can see if Levi could develop into a NHL level goalie quickly.
  13. Exactly. He’s playing on borrowed time right now. He learned the hard way last season that he played way too much. He’s not going to sacrifice his buddy for the Sabres and I don’t blame him
  14. I don’t know what to say except that he wants to evaluate talent this year including upl 🤷‍♂️
  15. I wonder if the team has to pay for the pre/post games. That would explain why it’s not on ESPN+
  16. Singletary has the highest amount of drops on the team
  17. Ok so the Bills are in a three way tie for 2nd which is soooooo much better🤦‍♂️
  18. See for yourself. Also there is an article in the Buffalo News today behind a paywall so I cant read it
  19. Dropped passes isn’t a weather thing, it’s a Bills thing. It appears that the Buffalo News has an article about it (posted 5 hours ago) but it’s behind a pay wall. This is from NBC Sports
  20. This is the difference, the Bills are not crushing teams. They are barely squeaking by right now
  21. The run game is getting better, and a bit more relied upon, after Josh hurt his elbow. It was ineffective yesterday because the Jets D was dominant. The Bills really have one true deep threat (Diggs) because he can catch almost anything. Davis is useful but he’s not going to be making spectacular jumping one hand, off the helmet type catches Diggs can pull off. Mckenzie (who replaced Beasley) is a liability more than anything because he can’t catch a ball if his life depended on it. Knox is not anywhere near the caliber the Bills need him at TE. with all of the injuries the defense has had to deal with, they are pretty solid. Except for Johnson. The offense is target him because he cannot make a play on the ball. IMO he is the biggest liability on the defense
  22. Hahahaha no one says they’re not a great team but there is always room Improvement. If you don’t think that because of their record, then who’s the ***** idiot? IMO KC is the new Patriots for the Bills. Always have their number when it counts the most.
  23. Absolutely. You take Diggs out of the equation, then you have Josh running. I know they just re-signed Smoke and that may take some heat off of Diggs but smoke only got what one target. Hopefully they’ll get him more involved in the last several games. I’m am not sold on Knox at all. The Bills need someone that is very hard to stop like like a Kelce or Gronk.
  24. The Bills are 10-3 and you have to be happy about that. There is also some reason to be concern since the offense isn’t dominating like they did in the beginning of the season. Matter of fact the offense seems to be struggling even in the last three wins (not so much against the Patriots) plus people are never going to be happy unless thet go undefeated through the Super Bowl
