  1. This abusive language will not be tolerated. I have reported you to the moderators.
  2. Your not a moderator are you, nfreeman? Just a bully.
  3. In my experience, it would help if you didn't accuse every new poster of being an undercover banned poster. Because, why would anyone new want to post here? The few times a new poster shows up, I've noticed, you treat them like lepers. Nfreeman and SDS don't act like "moderators," in the true sense of the word. They tend to dictate the conversation in the way that they see fit. That's not "moderation," but they don't give a damn. Moderation allows the flow of conversation to take place within boundaries. SDS and nfreeman stick their rudders in and yank in the direction that they see fit. That's fine, as a poster, but on a board without any accessible rules of conduct, they do not make the board friendly to newcomers. There is also a culture of hazing new posters to test their limits. It's amusing, I'm sure.
  4. I voted the same on big-game 2nd liner. I'd like him to have more offense than Peca. I think he will continue to improve. Separately, you're probably hazing the new poster, so that's great nfreeman.
  5. OV doesn't give me the runs, but it's also not a very remarkable beer. I could see splitting half OV with one half of a good beer bottle to save money. Other than that, I don't have much use for it.
  6. It's like you stopped him in the street, frisked him, got all upset about a bulge in his pocket, realized it was just his car keys, and let him go on his way. Where's your badge, man? ;)
  7. It's impressive what Battista was able to accomplish at Penn State. From what I've heard Pegula Arena is a top notch facility that gets used for more than just hockey. Happy Valley is a really special place. If his family feels at home there, I really respect the decision.
  8. Regarding Ecology, anyone in NYS can choose an electric supplier that supplies exclusively wind and hydro. It's only slightly more expensive, but if everyone did it, the balance would be flipped in favor of renewable resources. At least in my situation, I can vote with my dollar, and vote for clean energy.
  9. I have ridden my bike down Old Lakeshore Drive, 11, driven my car, stopped and walked around. I have peeked at homes and beaches. I don't think you feel the same mystique that I do when I say the name of the road. That's OK.
  10. I'd go there. Old Lakeshore is even better than Williamsville, which is better than East Aurora, if that's even possible. Personally, aside from the actually reality of the situation, that song from Nirvana comes to mind when I think of Old Lakeshore Drive. Man, it's nice. I could see her wanting to see the place by daylight. Sweet talk might have gotten her out there at 3am. This in no way means to predict of propose what happened. I'm just putting myself in the position of someone Kane might ask out to that sweet pad, which is silly.

  12. I side with Bernie Sanders on 94% of 2016 Presidential Election Issues. I'm tough on immigration too. Thanks Bagboy.
  13. So, was it multiple vans, cars, one truck? I don't think that you have ever clarified that point, other than saying it was your impression that it was multiple. I didn't realize that you were trying to insult me for not "breaking news." Thanks for pointing that out. Hume is widely regarded as the greatest philosopher in the English Language, in large part because of the Naturalistic Fallacy. When you said, "see my signature," all that I see is a rip off. Cheap jewelry. Fake. Just my P.O.V.
  14. Not that it adds a lot to the discussion, but the is/ought fallacy should be attributed to Scottish Philosopher David Hume. It's known as Hume's Law, or Hume's Fallacy. Tyrion Lannister, upon investigation, is a character from Game of Thrones? While impressive, the quote is an intellectual forgery. I apologize for having to be the one to break this to you for I respect you and your opinions. I just thought you would like to know the truth.
  15. Oh I grant you that point. When people say, "I've got no skin in this," is like when people say, "I'm just being honest." It's to spin a situation in one's favor. I'm skeptical of Croce, and I don't particularly like the guy, but I wouldn't just throw his testimony out of court. It should be heard, just not taken as the honest truth. The alleged incident didn't take place at the SkyBar, as you know, so it would just be a piece in the puzzle, and would need to be evaluated. I just wouldn't toss it out yet, but I don't know the whole facts, and am not very close to the situation. Still, no rush to judgement. The wheels of justice turn slow, but they'll grind whatever needs grinding.
  16. The catering job and SkyBar patronage just istn't enough for Croce to care about, I don't think. Maybe there's more that I'm not seeing.
  17. The parties are catered through Croce's restaurants. It may be that the party was catered by a Croce establishment.
  18. Didn't know that there was SkyBar food. I thought it was just a nightclub. I'm positive that the SkyBar doesn't do catering.
