In his interview Murray said he doesn't expect to trade for a defenseman at the expense of the future. His goal may be playoffs but he isn't going to mortgage a cup run to appease the fan base. He says there is an organizational plan and any trade would have to fit into it long term. That was my take anyway.

I thought I heard Rayzor say that Dan Bylsma said Bailey's future is on the left. I assume they see Nylander as the future rw, while Kyle Samson and Baptiste on the right.

If they are working Bailey on the off wing i.e. the left, I think they see him or Baptiste playing with Sam and Jack.

Baptiste has better hands and is a bit more creative. Bailey is a physical specimen who may have dominated lesser competition with size and speed. I don't see the hands in his game and he thinks the game instead of reacting. More time in the AHL can cure both ills.

Solid effort. Okposo is a good fit on that line and never seems to make a bad play out of panic. Zemgus may have had his best game of the year but his last 2 were both good. He isn't getting on the board, but he is possessing the puck and and driving play. I like Baptiste, but I also like Fasching. Dlo is history as far as I'm concerned. McCabe Kulio and Risto had very good games. The other D were adequate. Defense was not an issue today. Foligno would be on the block if I were looking to trade. Too many mental lapses to go with no mitts. Lehner looked much better today with rebounds. Hopefully he continues to improve in that area. Samson was quiet offensively but he was Johnny on the spot defensively particularly in our zone. Nice win.

Foligno can go in any reasonable trade scenario. He simply has no hockey sense
