    I don't think he is dissing Nolan at all. Rather, he is communicating that as GM he is using a different metric in assessing their ability. Show me something every chance you get because I have decisions to make.

    I'd go 70/30 but that's a reasonable assessment. Similarly, his comment about wanting Pysik to do more than be a safe steady D is a message to the player(s) to make the most out of every shift, because I am watching and may be doing so through a different lens.

    I had the exact opposite impression. I paraphrase, but he said every time we called down there he was the best player available. He did not transition well from top line to bottom line minutes. I thought it was more an indictment of the coaching staff than Larsson. JMHO.

    Relax we traded for a guy a day removed from surgery. The focus at the top is on next season. No one wishes any harm to Z or any player but until Nolan reads the memos all things that help the rebuild are viwed differently. I hope the xrays are negative and Z is back at it soon. But if someone throws a Forsberg at you, you counter with what's his name. It is the Buffalo way.

    What I meant was that quote said "in one negotiation." Team a can call and gmtm says I want player x while team b calls and he says i want your x round pick. Saying the value is fixed is inartful at a minimum. I think it depends on who is asking and what they have that the gm wants. Other than a gutted carcass of a roster to finish the season.

    The "B+" characterization seems specious. One persons B+ could be another's A or another's C. Without knowing who, that seems to be a leap.
