Just finished watching the game on severe delay. Eichel will make Girgs better than he will Kane. Girgs and to a lesser extent Gionlooked for the soft areas and Jack was finding them. Risto. Pay the man Shirley. CJ shows you why he is in the show and why he was never an established starter all in the same game. The kids are alright, Legwand is good at hockey even at his age and we need Pysyk back. Thoroughly enjoyable game. Can't make mistakes against a team as hot as the caps. I felt the awakening.

I don't see the relevance. The Sabres and Bills are tenants. I am not privy to the lease deals. I suppose you could vote out the county executive until he terminates their leases but I do not know where that gets you. But the county has no say on how the teams are run no more so than Simon properties can tell JC Penney how to run its stores.

I posted to stop whining about his ownership. Criticize the Murray hiring, Byslma hiring, Leino contract Erhoff contract et al to your hearts content. But in the end TP/KP wrote the check. They are qualified to do anything they want with the team including burning it to the ground. They own it. We are consumers of the product. If a consumer doesn't like the product don't buy it. But constantly going on about meddling is annoying to me when it is within the purview of the owners to do so. You may not like, Pa may not like, I may not like but thems are the breaks. I voted my wallet with the Bills. (See my post circa the Ryan hiring.) I happen to like the direction the Sabres are heading in. I criticized the Lehner trade. But I also realize that Murray will win some and lose. And I still wish to consume the product. So reread what I posted. Criticism of events, decisions etc. great fodder for conversation. But this incessant rant about the owners obligation to the fans is boring. They owe us nothing. We owe them nothing. We coexist of our own free wills. And neither is compelled to do so against their will.

He is "qualified" to run the team because he was able to write the check to purchase it. They are a private enterprise that sells a brand experience. They are not an outsourced government contract. They are beholding to no one but the market. If you do not like the brand experience they offer, choose another. This is not a democracy, and we do not get to elect who works for or owns either team. You can only vote with your wallet and your interest. So would you do everyone a favor and drop this incessant whining about the ownership, unless you are willing to step into the breach and write the check.

In the short time Linus has been here he has shown tremendous improvement. If Lehner rejoins the big club and Linus plays everyday in Rochester, he may be making Holtby like saves in a year. I don't think we can expect much more from a guy who plays once every two or three games in his first season in the best league in the world. To steal someone elses's line Ullmark will be fine.

Look the police investigate. Often they do that through questioning. It would be impossible to put a gag order over anyone involved in an investigation. All a reporter has to do to corroborate an investigation is get to two of the people questioned. As long as the public has a fascination for the scintillating and TMZ has a following, these types of stories will generate interest. I do not fault the BPD in this instance. You want find fault with law enforcement, follow what is happening in Chicago. It is mind blowing.

Against Sui in a very physical game, Alex created a lot of space and made some great dishes. I thought he looked as polished as Jessie who was also quite impressive with the way he sees the ice and uses his teamates. Puljujarvi is bigger though.

That's a good trade for both teams. The Oil got pushed around by the Flames last night. A little sandpaper could help them alot and Scrivens was wilting in the minors. If he can give any semblance of normalcy to the Habs gt situation it is a good move.

Reporting that someone is being investigated is not defamation if they in fact are being investigated. PK had no cause of action. EKane will be in the same boat.
