So that's a penalty, but the hack/hook that caused Foligno to give up the puck, or the hack that caused Carrier to drop his stick... not so much. Hmm. Though to be fair, our last PP was more of a kill than an advantage.

Unlike Rob Ray's keys to the game...which usually state to slow the game down and not get in to a shootout, this team needs to forget a little about defense and let the forwards go...we have some offensive talent...put pressure on the opponent

I think we're Tomax and Xamot. Didn't see anything until the second intermission, 2-2. Wife and I started talking about stuff and I didn't turn the game back on until about 8 minutes left (2-4), despite the Sabres being down. Watched through to the end, of course.
So… if one of us picks up and spins Buffalo Wings around whirlybird-style, then MattPie will also get dizzy?

If you were the GM today, what would be your first club decision once you knew the club was numerically eliminated from the playoffs?
Sadly, because of loser points, we won't be mathematically eliminated until after the trade deadline...

Also, the Sabres don't win with 44 in the lineup and that Carubba Collision sucked. I've seen harder hits from a 75lb junky.

Fine, take the timeout to get everyone back on the same page. But -- Byslma needs to have a ref over by the Sabres bench getting an absolute endless earful about the non-calls on Eichel and Girgensons. You let the refs know you're upset, that you'll be sending it to the league office, etc. Why? Because it works. If you say nothing, they'll treat you like nothing.
Oh? Waved off immediately....

What happened? We were decent early in the season, right? Then just plummeted off the face of the rink. It wasn't Gorges' injury, was it? It certainly wasn't waiving Grant, we'd been going awfully well before then.
Nashville guilty of one too many passes there for the perfect goal. Didn't happen. Make them pay!

I'm still upset... Carbonneau got his size 2000 jersey onto that Holzinger-to-Patrick clean draw and got enough of the puck to deflect it off the cage. I would have loved to see a game 7 there. Every one of those games was a nail-biter (except... 3?). Hasek could've stolen us a Cup. (Looking back at those rosters, the Stars should have steamrolled us in 4 games.) Grosek and Satan and Shannon would've been nice to have in the lineup as well.
