Communication mix-up. Bailey's got to take charge and just take it, use his speed. O'Reilly will react accordingly.
We are so eager to dump the puck (give it away freely) when we have a lead, rather than possessing and attacking. We have the space, we're just coached not to take it. That's the maddening part. We could have this 3rd period at even puck possession if we only tried to.

In standings news, Bjugstad and Huberdeau each got their second of the season. I didn't realize Bjugstad has played 25 games already to get to his second. The Panthers are now primed to push for Toronto's spot, too.

Eichel causes a slight flap with post-game comments... has been picking up assists lately but not many goals... has Kesler trying to bug him all night. So... two goals? First hat trick?

He can keep being cheeky with the press as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad he was flustered by the booing; the team looked horrid for two periods (and was being made to look horrid by an excellent team firing on all cylinders). So be it. I assume within 3 years he'll sound like every other vet.
Keep being cheeky, Jack! Don't grow up too fast. (And if you threaten 40 G every season and improve on faceoffs and defensive positioning each year to create more takeaways that lead to odd-man breaks for Sabres' goals... all the better.)

To be honest, I'll have the game on in its entirety, I just may not start watching closely until then... and I'll feel a little guilty about that.
Grant is back up? But next time we can send him down if he hasn't played X games or until 30 days have passed, right? I'd like to see him in the Amerks lineup to help push for the playoffs.
