Run a few more of them hard into the boards and make them feel it. Don't... you know... leave your feet or anything or goon it up... but finish them hard.
Someone wake up. Whether it's a goalie switch (coaching), or some atonement (Fitz running someone and starting a fight), or just a grinding possession ending in a goal (Okposo/Girgs/Krebs)... don't do this, Tuch. C'mon, give us a sign here!
Time to bench Anderson and wake up the team. I know HCMeatballs doesn't do that, but sometimes it's necessary, more for the skaters than for the goalie.
I refuse to acknowledge that Brian Elliott is better than a prospect on half the league's rosters. He's past his prime and if Vasilevskiy gets hurt TBL is screwed. But he is fantastic historically against Buffalo. Most of his career has been against a terrible Sabres team.
Sigh. This line looks like they haven't skated a practice together before. But the only change is Bjork. Cozens and Hino have looked good together for a month (with Krebs).
Bjork trying to make the 8 foot pass to someone covered (twice) rather than just skating out of the zone. Then a shot that looks like if I took a shot (except his was on net).
Bjork not alone. Fitz with a brutal turnover, too. I wonder if he's in his final Sabres game of the season (he's still waiver exempt at the moment and Power is going to push out someone... and it won't be Samuelsson).
'Spacers: But it's a whole 'nother year!
Owen Unlimited Power: Look... it's only one more season.
'Spacers: Yeah. That's what you said when Cal Petersen left.
Owen Unlimited Power: I'll convince him to sign next year. I promise.
He's still only 21 years old. I get it that he's becoming great... but 24+ min/g against this run of March/Apr opponents. And every opponent is targeting him. Kid needs someone else to be on the ice... from time-to-time.
