  1. I don't know that Power was still moving forward there.....
  2. Nifty hands, Olof. (Everyone just expects the cannon.)
  3. And the NHL wants to stop doing 3-on-3 (4-on-4) in OT and go to a shootout after 5 minutes. Just expand it to 10 minutes or go directly to a tie already.
  4. Cozens, you can't be that lackadaisical in OT.
  5. Dahlin is back and he's the kid. But then, Clifton has been decent. EJ hasn't, but has been good on the PK.
  6. At least 20 posts of "shoot the puck" in the final 15 seconds.
  7. If only Skinner could play like this in 80% of his games.
  8. Big save by Levi. Then the trip. (And Skinner extra-selling the crosscheck.) And that crosscheck should have been called. Let's close it up, Tage. We're going in on the power play. We're going in full throttle. That oughta keep those Habitantes off our backs.
  9. Dahlin & Muel dropping the bad Habits left and right.
  10. Whoever was left in the slot got his brain rattled by Levi and completely misfired. (Caufield)
  11. TNT being too big. This kill is the game.
  12. Daaaaannngg, that's a lot of Habs fans.
  13. Just as Dahlin did. And hopefully Power is.
  14. Oki-wan Posobi buries it. Also... Benson is not there yet... but dang is he going to be good when the game slows down for him and he gets a bit of adult strength.
  15. Skinner with a good bump/takedown at the blue line to leave himself unmarked for the goal. Woo!
  16. Primeau was great in the first. Major and a weaker one from Levi in the second. Gotta play one heck of a third to get points out of this one.
  17. Gah. Ref lost sight of the puck and blew it dead prematurely.
  18. Skinnerrrrrrrr.... in the net, next time.
  19. On the one hand, it's really good to have a forechecker who can surprise a player with his speed and also isn't afraid to throw a hit. The CBC broadcast is all over the Habs player and wondering what he was thinking. But really, it'd make sense to wonder -- "Wait, a Sabre is going to actually hit me?" But given how Primeau is seeing the puck tonight, Robinson may have just cost them the game despite a good overall effort.
  20. Skinner's got to know that when Power (or Dahlin, et al.) pinch, he's got to pull back and cover a possible breakaway if it gets past the remaining d high. Lucky that didn't turn into a good chance.
  21. 2 years ago. Okposo was right-wall on the PP2 and did well with it to the tune of 8 PPG. The Sabres PP% was 21 that year, above average, and that PP2 was a big part of that.
