  1. I know he is just a young kid but after watching some of his highlights his style and skating reminds of Pat LaFontaine. His ability to get around and behind defensemen is very similar to Patty
  2. Awesome video, Goforth and Kilgore slayed me.
  3. Very sad news. I always liked and respected this guy. RIP
  4. I only wish Stafford had been traded on his own, for a used left handed glove.
  5. A wash? Kane is a legit first line player. Bogosian may be a step beneath Myers and the rest are prospects only.
  6. You have to give something to get something. I'd do the deal.
  7. I'm hoping that Shanahan wants to speak to Neal only so he can give him some sort of award.
  8. Well, you know what they say, Feaster famine.
  9. Well, you can't coach tall.
  10. Watch Stafford attempt to recieve a pass sometime. It almost always hits off his stick and bounces away. I've had it with this guy.
  11. Glad to hear that about Girgensons. I saw the hit that concussed him and was hoping that he wasn't Tim Connollyed.
  12. Come on, it was the guys first post.
  13. Don't get me wrong, I love the Sabres but I hate this team.
  14. Absolutely losing Danny Briere was the worst thing that Darcy has done in his tenure here. The guy wanted to stay here but Darcy turned up his nose at him.
  15. Reminded me a lot of the parent club when that happened. At least Brennan jumped on the guy who laid out Girgensons.
  16. Hard to follow Shannon Tweed (no pun intended) but glad Hockey is back. Excited about Ott stirring up the chowderheads.
  17. Yeah, you guys are probably right. Long gone are the days of McGuire, Hartman, Bougner, and Donnelly. <sigh>
  18. We know that there was nobody on the roster that would respond. The "point" is that now there is. I hated the way this roster failed to respond to Luccic and the rest of the Bruins, almost to the point of washing my hands of this franchise. Gutless is only one way to describe their reaction. We now have someone who will respond. Just one you say? Well in my opinion one is a helluva lot better than none.
  19. Look, we all complained, me included, that the Sabres had no one that could, or would, respond to what happened to Miller. Now we have that person.
  20. There is no question, in my mind, that this guys presence will intimidate opponents and offer teammates a sense of security.
  21. Yeah but how many hits did he have?
  22. Well how did he do with Briere's potential? Or Drury's? Or Brian Cambells?
