The way this team bounced back after starting 0-3 it would be a slap in their faces to continue with UPL. Their hard work and good play got them into a playoff spot and the chance to sweep a back-to-back against a rival. Send a message that mediocrity will not be tolerated.

KA and Ruff will BS the fanbase with how UPL needs a few games post injury. They’ll sacrifice what the rest of the team has built after adversity for trying to “protect” a player. All it does is send a message that mediocrity is ok and can possibly screw up this team’s confidence. If I was Ruff I would tell the press we need more from our goaltending in these types of games. Screw UPL’s confidence because he has pissed away the opportunity given to him here with sub .900 play.

This game reminds me of when Wolf “The Dentist” Stansson told Gunnar Stahl, “you lost it for me.”

Everytime, and I mean everytime OP goes in deep he stops down by the opposing goal line and just watches. He has no concept of getting back into his position. UPL is not the starter this team needs regardless of coming back from an injury.
