The problem with this is that Rolston is an interim coach. He wants to coach in the nhl and needs to win to do that. As much as im sure he cares that players develop hes got to coach for his future which I think is a major conflict of interest for this team thats done. I almost wish theyd sign him to coach next year and tell him to see what the young guys can do.

If they would take Foligno straight up for O'reilly id do it in a second. Im not that impressed by him. His goals last year came off of some lucky bounces and he happened to be in the right place at the right time. Kinda like Stafford in his contract year where a lot of bounces went his way.

Maybe the Sabres can for once set the market instead of waiting for it to be set.

at this point you can have him for any player on the roster minus vanek.

They need to exchange their 5 worst players for 5 good ones. I dont see any possible way to do it packaging prospects and draft picks. They may as well just sell off everyone over 30 and start from scratch. Its gonna take a few years and a new GM for it to happen.

Eleven I'm sorry if itcame across that way but I bleed blue and gold too. My best friends are bruins and pens fans and MY father inlaw is a leaf fan from Toronto ive had to fight the good fight for many years and unfortunately its been a losing batlle mostly (had to see friends teams win the cup a few times.) Lol at least Toronto has always sucked. That has always led to combative mood when discussing sabres no harm meant at all.
