That was unforgivably bad. Doesn’t matter if you hoped he would sit, you don’t just throw it with some zip where you want him to be. Have to know where he is and where he’s going. That whole space was empty so a softball anywhere around him is a touchdown.

Allen has Jones WIDE OPEN and misses him. I get that he probably wanted him to sit in that open spot but that whole space was void of defenders - just take the juice off it and let Jones find it.

He’s survived a couple coaching changes and bad special teams units, it makes no sense. Coaching staff-wise they gotta fire him and then let Daboll make his own offensive staff.

This is where I’m at. I’d be willing to consider it depending on the deal but realistically it wouldn’t be needed. The Pens gave up Ian Cole, a 1st, 3rd, 4th, Ryan Reaves and a mediocre goalie to get Brassard, a 3rd and two prospects. The 3rd, 4th, the goalie prospect and Reaves offset with the higher third and two prospects. So it was essentially a 1st and Cole for Brassard. Now his value is lower.

I would definitely have a good amount of interest in Brassard Sobotka isn’t even a third of the price it’d take to get him, though. He’s probably someone I would consider sending a first for depending but you can probably get him without giving one up.

It was late, from behind on a defenseless player. The league is afraid of itself. Someone mentioned DPOS may have backed themselves into a corner because that’s like a five-game hit but since Wilson has repeat offender status they would’ve had to suspend him far more.

Tom Wilson doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt. If he didn’t intend to hit him he would t have. Regardless it’s a blindside late hit on a defenseless player.
