Do mods even pay attention to reported posts? I’ve reported a few egregious ones (egregious by even the least sensitive standards) and just seen those conversations continue uninterruped.

The team is hosting Ezekiel Ansah today. If they’re looking at veteran pass rushers then Justin Houston is also out there. Markus Golden is also there but meh. Bruce Irvin. Suh is still there for the interior. Who most people consider as the top WR is also still there in Golden Tate. He publicly showed interest in Pittsburgh who signed Donte Moncrief (who I love but is probably a slightly worse version of Tate).

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

I may have mentioned this already but NBC’s Hannibal is an incredible experience. Not something you’d expect from a network like them but it’s got everything. Incredible characters, acting, visual effects and story telling. It’s even got a ton of gore. Laurence Fishburne, Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen. -
If fighting was part of the game then why is it given one of the highest penalties allowable whenever it happens?
-
That’s a fine contact but furthers my indifferent feelings about Kroft. He’s so good the best deal he could get is a one-year deal with options. Josh Allen has zero go-to targets and a brutal offensive line still. He’s a backup. Or should be, but this is McBeane’s team.
-
Once Chris Ivory is cut I’m not sure how you criticize the Gore signing. We get a better backup running back that can teach any potential rookie we add along with motivating Shady (he and Gore are close) for legit negative money.

Alshon Jeffrey played like a superstar for Philly in those playoffs and is exponentially better than what we have. Denver has already been hashed out by TrueBlue above - they had great WRs and Peyton Manning. Anquan Boldin is a Hall of Famer (or at least borderline). I’m not saying they need a Hall of Famer but they’ve still got ZERO go-to targets for Josh Allen.
-
I just don’t know where this idea that you should build a stable of WRs that are solid at best instead of having a couple solid guys and at least one elite target. Who has had Super Bowl success without that? And don’t say Tom Brady who has had Gronk and Randy Moss and is the greatest to ever do it.

This gives me some hope for what initially looked like an incredibly dumb signing but I also remember the number of Bills OL that have looked great when asked to come in to relieve injured players but then looked brutal when asked to do it full time. It’s an entirely different game when you’ve got to play every game and every down.

I’m talking trades.

Probably another stopgap player on an expensive contract.
-
That’s a disappointment. A lot more we need to know here but that’s a price they should be willing to pay. We have the higher pick, too.

For the Browns first (17), third and Jabrill Peppers. God ***** I wish the Bills had made this move.

Tow the line... love isn’t always on thyme. Everyone knows the lyrics, PA. Cmon now.

Turns out my joke was all for not.

Well plaid.

I kid. This has been your ballgame for years (literally) now. I can only hope to breath the same air as you once again someday.

Get thee behind me, PEASANT.

That’s a massive price to pay for a guy who couldn’t start on a team who had three QBs get hurt. I’m not nearly as pumped about our signings as everyone else seems to be. I love Morse. I’m good without Gore as long as Ivory gets cut. I like John Brown but that’s an overpay for a guy like that. Beasley for four years is ridiculous. Kroft is, as I mentioned earlier, this year’s Trent Murphy. The team is slightly better. Still some time to fill other holes with plenty of money left.

Wayne Simmonds was not punished for allegedly using the same slur against Sean Avery in 2011. In their statement the NHL said Simmonds denied it but after the game Simmonds wouldn’t deny he said it and admitted he said things Sean Avery did not like. Earlier that same year Kobe was fined $100,000 for using it. In my opinion, you should be automatically suspended 10 games if the league can confirm you said anything homophonic, racist and beyond. That and a hefty fine.

Gore: good signing once they cut Ivory. They signed a better back to a one-year deal for less than they’ll get when they cut Ivory. Adds a small amount of cap and improves the team for a year while a rookie learns. Also: a rookie should learn a ton from Gore and Shady. Kroft: hate it. He’s never been “good” but he got paid like he has. He’s this offseason’s Trent Murphy. Morse: love it. One of the league’s best centers and that’s a HUGE need. Spends years with Allen which is great. Johnson: don’t know the numbers yet but if he came cheap that’s a good signing. If it’s got multi-year guarantees then it’s bad.

Jeez somehow he looked and sounded more like Lee Pace in Guardians than he did here. He looked and sounded like Pace in the hologram but not in his actual scenes. Either way it was poorly done. -
Eichel Gets Two Game Suspension from the Dept of Player Safety
Hoss replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I get it. We’re Sabres fans. He’s our best player. We don’t want him suspended. But this one is clearcut. Soderberg does NOT “run into” Eichel. Eichel and Soderberg are both skating for a loose puck. Eichel actually has him beat so Soderberg leans in to poke it away. Instead of taking a quick stride to get to the puck first Eichel sets a wide base to sturdy himself and prepare to make contact, except Soderberg’s body isn’t near enough so Eichel suddenly changes his direction slightly and drives through his head. Lucky for Soderberg Eichel is juuuuust off so his shoulder misses ever so sightly and Eichel hits him with his upper back instead. Eichel could have gotten that puck and made no contact.
