He did have a couple games over or around 10 with RR but also committed some brutal turnovers recently. I'm ok with it. he can come back after his season is over and even goto the Americans

you dont have to send someone to juniors/minors to trade them. it wouldnt have anything to do with a trade. if he was part of a trade he would just be gone.

I'm really excited to see how Justin Kea progresses in the next year or so. He's a Center and is 19 years old and already 6'4" we drafted him when he had only scored a handful of goals last year and he has exploded this year for a "defensive specialist" type player with 22 goals 26 assists for 48points along with 102PIMs. His past two OHL seasons combined he has only had 7 goals and 20 total points, so this has been a breakout year for him. Best case scenario he pans out to be a solid two-way 3rd line center in the nhl able to pot some goals. however just compared his numbers to paul gaustads last year in the WHL and goose had 36goals 80points and 202pims so who knows. Intriguing prospect to watch develop either way.

Absolutely

He is definitely an exciting prospect to watch but i felt the same way about Sundher and JGL last year and they havnt done much yet in the AHL

I think Leino is ready to play and when we finally activate him someone needs to be sent down....who might it be.......?

Its going to get real interesting next year with players coming up that should be ready for regular playing time and a crowded forward corps. We have to plan on buying out a forward this offseason. With Armia and Grigo probably ready for part if not all of the nhl season and guys like Porter/Flynn/Mccormick/Tropp/Kaleta/Gerbe/Leino probably in the bottom 6. Scott will be gone i'm sure, Ellis will be in AHL or let go. Stafford and Foligno are big ? marks whether they will be in top 6 or bottom and if staff will be traded etc. Not to mention the need to sign a veteren forward or two. Moves need to be made, big time

I remember people saying back when we drafted Myers that he had to be told in junior to not fight as much (or to stop fighting) because they needed him on the ice. So i just still dont get how he's a wet towel all the time that shows very very little aggression ever.. looking at hockeyfights.com He had 10 Fighting majors over 2 WHL seasons. ********Ah and 3 of the 10 Myers recieved an instigator *****

Well i'm sure they'd split time depending on how long leggio was gone. Neither lieuwen or knapp have stood out. They both need work and experience. Knapp is 2-6 i believe now in the ECHL and 1-5or6 in the AHL. Lieuwen lost in overtime the other night but only played his 2nd AHL game. It would be very hard on Roch is Leggio was ever lost via injury or call up. He's been an All-star again for them.

I've been a passionate fan since the mid 90's and this just seems cruel. I actually turned the game off last night because i was just disgusted with them, it is down right hard to watch. I've always been against cleaning house and trading major parts of the team but this team is different...we thought they quit on lindy but it looks like they've quit on themselves...Only guys i want to hold onto at this point is Hodgson maybe ennis + foligno and girgorenko. AKA the guys that havent been hear for past several years. Stafford looks like Brad Boyes did last year, in need of a change. Hecht..goes without saying..time to hang em up. (yes even though he scored) I have no urge to have Leopold back in the lineup, whats the point? Maybe Foligno needs to fine tune his skills in the AHL some more? I Think Vanek needs dominant linemates to be dominant...without them he just kind of floats around. Can someone else besides Weber please step up and fight when someone gets crushed? Because the guy may have a heart of gold but he is a horrible fighter. Get Enroth some games. Let Porter help roch...i dont think he brings much besides a defensive forward really. this list goes on. someone call lindy...tell him we changed our minds... ;)

Vanek and Pommer should have known better in the shootout, Hedberg got beat once by each of them less than a week ago he was clearly approaching that shootout differently. He was ready for them to shoot on him but he left the chance for dekes wide open sadly they went with what was comfortable.

you think we'd call up knapp from the E rather than Leggio?
