I dont know who in rochester would be better suited than hecht anyway. Tarnasky? Adam? bring Ellis back?
-
run away, as fast as possible people would set fire to the fnc UFA centers available .... Elias, Getzlaf, Ribeiro, Connolly, McDonald, Antropov, Roy, S.Koivu, Cervenka, Lombardi, cullen, Zubrus, weiss, malhotra, handzus and the list goes on.

i like it but i dont see ennis going back to the wing. i like foligno on the 3rd line stafford can go along with gerbe Vet center is #1 priority in my mind
-
new 4th line idea LW-porter C-Girgensons RW- Tropp
-
next year options Vanek Hodgson Pominville Foligno Ennis Stafford Ott Grigorenko Leino Gerbe/McCormick/Tropp/Armia/Adam/Porter/Girgensons
-
he needs to be traded or waived
-
I think it is a step above as well and i would rather see him in the nhl but looking at the roster the only forwards who arent under contract for next year are hecht and scott. then in rochester the ufas are Ellis, Tarnasky and Mancari. We HAVE to make a trade/buyouts because there is no spot for him right now the way i see it. Add corey tropp and a healthy ville leino pending they are both healthy and ready to go of course.

i guess not the ahl but i dont see armia being ready next year for full time nhl action and i'm worried about the sabres and amerks as far as veterans. we have great talent coming up but no experienced players to lead them. with that said i would love to see Grigs or Armia on a line with foligno or someone on the LW-like you said I need to see grigs start getting used and succeeding because right now i just have no idea what we have besides the potential we hear about. i didnt realize grigorenko wouldnt be able to play in the A next year either

i love how now that Lindy is gone every loss turns into ITS NOT THE COACHING, THESE PLAYERS JUST SUCK! when prior the firing it was LINDYS "SYSTEM" and TERRIBLE PLAYER USAGE etc or even better now "Its Darcy's fault for assembling this terrible team" we could fire everyone and trade everyone and all of you here would still pointing the finger somehow. -

two things, i dont see the first line being broken up and i cant imagine a healthy scratch going right onto the top line. i think there are definitely things with grigo that we dont see that the coaches do. other wise he would be in over gerbe or scott or previously McCormick -

Grigo - Q numbers 59gp - 40g + 45a -85pts 32gp - 29g + 21a -50pts Zagrapan - Q numbers 59gp - 32g 50a -82pts 59gp - 35g 52a -87pts for what its worth. just intersting to look at between a guy being looked at as our next up and coming sniper to a guy that never cracked an nhl lineup and ended up bouncing around the khl/czech league/other european leagues never being able to produce consistently right but who knows what happens if we had let zags play right out of junior like grigo has -

maybe.. Foligno-Ott-Hecht -- with Ott and Hecht rotating Gerbe-Porter-Kaleta -- think i actually like these better -

This way we truely have 4 lines to roll without shuffling scott in and out. and some scoring punch on each line -

i have some line up ideas vanek-Coho-Pommer Grigo-Ennis-Stafford Ott-Hecht-Gerbe Foligno-Porter-Kaleta Two solid scoring lines and two solid checking lines that can still produce offense. get grigo in the mix with some skill guys(finally) and get foligno and porter together to kindle any chemistry they may have had in roch -
Definitely felt the effects of call ups and injuries. No porter, flynn, rankin - couple of their top scorers. Seems like Luke Adam has just packed it in. Every post i see from the rochester forum about him is just that he is completely invisible and useless. not to mention the roch fans are in uproar with the "Darcy screwing the amerks agian! thanks alot darcy!" rants
-
i think leggio gets called up after their game tonight, enroth goes down and plays tomorrow and Saturday then comes back up and plays for us giving miller a rest or maybe leggio even plays for us saturday? who knows.
-
we can rule out the ehrhoff/ennis theories. just maintenance days for both per PHamilton
-
yes but think about this we call up porter to play 4th line and grigo rotates in as he has been on the 3rd line when you want to scratch gerbe or scott or there is an injury
-
I think porter is a better hockey player and can play the 4th line position better than cody mcC, just minus the fighting, although has gotten into 2 scraps this year.
