  1. I'm talking league wide. That would make it a lot more interesting, but it didn't
  2. This has been the worst deadline in 5 years. Hands down 12 actual NHL trades (being generous)
  3. No way to prove it really. We signed big name free agents, traded a UFA and our best D man for an injured player and a great D man and traded away two UFA goalies. Nothing all that unusual
  4. It is to improve the tank. Neuvy was damaging it
  5. Let's face it, this is basically just a dump. If we weren't tanking i'd rather keep Neuvirth and try and sign him So you're saying we're about to go 20-0-0? :p
  6. Woooooo. Chance at 29th now
  7. He is an RFA...kind of odd to dump him for nothing
  8. Flynn for 5th rounder in 2016
  9. A lot of moves were made before today. The Leafs could be interesting. I really want Neuvirth out of here. Get rid of Stewart as well, that should be enough for 29th. Giving us a 33% chance at McE
  10. http://blabseal.de/rangers/
  11. Sounds like Yotes are going to trade Michalek. I really think they've locked 30th
  12. I know they play more at home. Not sure on the number though
  13. Darcy sets up the Sabres Tank then destroys it when he is fired. Classic manoeuvre. He wasn't joking about suffering.
  14. Duclair is a nice player. Him and Domi will be good together. Trade Neuvirth and start Lindback and hope he sucks
  15. Have the Yotes basically locked themselves 30th? Losing Yandle and Vermette can only help them. OEL limping off the ice too
  16. Phew. A loss in hand over Edmonton and Arizona. Me too.
  17. 2-2. The tank has hope
  18. Win for Hannafin
  19. Interesting RNH is a mediocre player and has significantly worse stats than the others
  20. Their top two centres are Backstrom and Kuznetsov - not too shabby really
  21. He also isn't afraid to 'lose' a deal either. So he may well be willing to give up more to get something that he sees as value - he clearly doesn't rate picks all that highly in comparison to a more complete prospect
  22. LTIR doesn't count against the cap. Ok I see what you are saying. Surely CoHo's buyout caphit is more like $2 mil per year for 10 years?
  23. If you are on an internal budget, i'd rather pay a player $4 mil to play, rather than $5 mil to sit on the sofa. In return, Sabres get $4 mil of cap space for the cost of $5 million dollars
  24. Caphit vs no caphit
