Kinda unfair stat, what with a) Miller being red hot last year around this time b) there not having been hockey in 8 or the last 12 months

I think the reason the focus is on goalie and not scoring or coaching, is a) 3 goals is pretty alright whilst 4 goals against with 2 softies is not (not to mention the 15 month winless streak this guy has) and b) coaching is a broader subject and requires more effort to attack. Had Enroth grabbed those two easy shots it would have been a tidy 3-2 win (although obviously the game would have been very different, but still)

I felt like a formula one driver when i first got in a car - i was going 20mph. Yeah he will adjust (actually a car is quite a good analogy about getting used to going the speed)

The home and home series; when we were so hopeful as we had won out first two games and the cup was finally within sight. Then we lost badly with Enroth in net and not so badly with Miller in net and the fire Ruff ideas emerged again

An ex player who knows the organization. Maybe there is something to it. Lets face it, the players are hardly running themselves ragged. I'm shocked Ennis was even tired in his interview with the amount he coasts

Well I give the front office some slack as there must be a reason they kept him around and why Pegula likes him. I think he is a good coach, but maybe a change is needed to shake up everything

Hrm.. Maybe Lindy should go. I agree the team looks like they are skating in a way that implies they are poor coached. Their PP has looked awful for the last 3 seasons. Who is in charge of it?

Goal 1 he was screened, nit his fault Goal 2 he let an awful goal in off the face off Goal 3 coho had a bad five away but Enroth should have saved it - he looked too small in net. It wasn't that tough a save

Although I think we can still win this. Fun fact: this season we have not won when trailing after one period. Not that surprising, we don't win much

Ennis seems like a depressing Emo sort of guy. He also needs a haircut

Myers having a very impressive game so far - best period of the year me thinks

Coho has been dodge defensively but this is his first season against top line players, so nt too surprising

Entoth has looked awful this season. 2 weak goals this period alone. He needs tk step up or we trade him and move on

Putting my reputation out there... I think Myers has a good game, shows us the way we know he can play

No T in his name. He has been alright - had some real bad moments I think. But for a 6th guy he is doing well enough. Just doesn't really have anything about his game - he isn't physical or that offensive, just vanilla in all areas. I think he is temporary though - Sekera, Myers and Erhoff are here for the foreseeable future and they are all better at both ends (Myers recent play notwithstanding)

Erhoff has 5 points in 9 games, i think he is doing just fine. I really can't believe there are people who say trade Myers, the guy is 23, I promise you 29 other teams would want him right now.

I agree our defense is a bit of an enigma. Erhoff and Sekera are good contracts, Myers is playing badly, but has shown for long periods he can play at a level that is worth that money. Regehr has been less of a factor than i thought he would be, he averages over 2 hits a night and a defensive d-man is only ever noticed when they screw up so maybe he has been ok. Leo is a good 5th/6th guy (normally), but maybe we need to have a grittier bottom pair if Erhoff, Sekera and Myers are our top 3. Myers - Regehr Erhoff - Sekera McNabb - Weber Maybe that sort of a line up would be better, mixing talent with grit

Howard is an average goalie. Miller is very good (i would argue elite). Look at some of the shots we have given up this year. I would say 70% of Miller's goals were not his fault. Detroit lost Lidstrom, and they are suffering from it, but watching a few of their games they are still more solid than us (defensively).

Yeah on average he has gotten better over the season. If he is going to be our franchise D, this is the game he steps up to be counted Got to admit, Weber's beard and play have caused me to question certain things in my life

To clarify, that was what happened when i played the sens on NHL 13 today :P But certain aspects were very realistic, such as Ennis missing on a breakaway and Foligno putting it wide, which means i have been watching the Sabres too much Those defensive lines are what you get when 3/4 top D are out. Looks like Myers is back to lots of ice time
