I think it was the right move by the organization. It sounds to me that Babs wanted way too much control, or money. We are now in position to get a coach who will be the right fit. The coach, and GM must have a good relationship. We have seen how it turns out if they don't. Go Sabres!!!!!

So know the litter is starting to thin, who is left, and who should we bring in as next coach?

I for one can't wait for Kane ' s wing to heal. Stafford is a good player, he needed a change. He has been hot when he played for us, his consistency is what I question. No way he is worth 5M a year. Then again neither is Moulson.

I remember Bowman handling both. IMO Murray is executing his vision. I am on board with what seems to be his vision. He has done a good job thus far with stockpiling picks, and assets for the future. Agreed. I can see subtle improvements in the brief time he has spent up this year. He needs to stay up the rest of the year, I think that will do him a lot of good. He has all of the intangibles to become a threat every time he is on the ice.

My feeling as I, and others have stated; Grigs has been mishandled, and he needs to be played without fear of being benched. When TN took over and told Tyler Myers to just a his game we say a different Myers. The same needs to be done with Grig, I guarantee we will see the player that he really is.

I am a big Irish Whiskey fan. Yellow spot from Middleton is probably my favorite. Can't get it here in the states, it's little brother green spot is pretty good as well. My go to is usually Jameson, or Tully.

I don't think anyone would ever compare Nolan, to Lindy. As much as I love Lindy Ruff, and believe he is a great coach. It was time for a change after all those years.

He never has. TN loves the Larrson (sp), and Ellis type players. While they are vital to a fourth line, Grigroenko has way more upside then they do. Just IMO. I am tired of Nolan's mismanagement of the p!@ poor team that has been assembled. This has been his story, That kids confidence has to be shattered at this point.

I don't look at Weber in that light at all. He seems like a stand up guy, and can never remember him ever taking cheap shots on other players.

I agree, as long as he adds some bulk he will be fine.

All of the tank , and previous lack of effort talk aside. Why is the kid not playing this year? He had a pretty good camp, and nice numbers in Roch. I think he has payed his dues and deserves a spot over some of the other call ups. What say you?

He has definitley improved every year. Imagine how good he will be with legitimate line mates. He is trying to do everything on his own right now. He has been throwing hits as well, more this year than any. He is playing angry.
