I made this years ago. the red dots are the picks Murray made in 3 drafts, the blue dots are the picks Jason made in 3 drafts. In essentially every "region" of draft picks, Murray out-picked Jason or they at least tied. Murray made 25, Jason made 18 Jason was too busy acquiring Veseys to make draft picks

Was Arvidsson also an RFA? He returned a 2nd and a 3rd. Not sure where his play stands today, but he was a 30 goal scorer. Maybe he wasn't an RFA

I feel pretty strongly that Sam basically told them he is indeed a rental headed to the northwest asap. Given that, i hate the return, but don't necessarily think that a different gm would have done much better after Buchnevich set the market. Eichel is not an RFA. I don't need a ridiculous return, but I need a good one that doesn't make me feel this deflated.
