  1. He keeps the whole thing settled down and smooth
  2. Johansson is so nifty in transition.
  3. Everything Eichel does is a highlight reel.
  4. Jack is reeeeeeediculous
  5. That's a stretch. That pass was fast and through an entire maze of bodies and came out behind him/between his legs Related, it feels like a hundred years since we actually hit on one of those cross creasers
  6. Risto with a ridiculously good period
  7. I hate this game. I think we're playing fine, but it feels like Nashville can beat us 4-1 tonight anyway. Not sure what it is.
  8. Dang. We're doing well when we can get the puck past Nashville's crazy forecheck, but that's harder said than done
  9. Reesto is playing the best hockey of his career, the last 3 weeks or so.
  10. Each team getting shifts in the offensive zone, but this game doesn't have a great feel to it from our perspective.
  11. Asplund has to put that in.
  12. He is really bad so far this year. We'll be better with him playing minutes elsewhere.
  13. Hodges is great at putting up 4 offensive touchdowns combined against the Bengals, Cardinals, and Browns defenses. Especially if your preferred method of marching down the field is Trent Edwards checkdowns combined with hail marys that are either miracle catches or an inordinate number of PI calls. Very sustainable, explosive offense led by a truly great quarterback
  14. I don't think I want Galchenyuk anymore
  15. Just saw the shirts/seats and what they're a reference to. Amazing
  16. DeBoer is a good coach with a shelf life, on a team whose vets are all hitting a wall at once. He's gonna go somewhere with a good roster and have a good amount of success.
  17. What players would you call elite then since, say, the start of the 2018-19 season? I'd have Sid, McD, and MacK , plus maybe Kucherov, but there's not any one player besides them I'd be okay with calling an undisputed top 5 player in the NHL, any other name you give I can dispute. That list is guaranteed to not have most of Ovechkin, Barkov, Bergeron, Panarin, Pasta, Marchand, Rantanen, Matthews, Draisaitl, Point, Jack, Kane, Tavares, any Sharks forward, not to mention many defensemen and goalies. I think that's restrictive to the point of uselessness, because these players are all elite NHLers. There are 998 skaters that have laced up in that time period, so we'll call it a thousand. I think calling the top 0.5% elite is too restrictive, as what is slightly worse than elite? just very good? The top 1% of all skaters are not elite, some of them are just very good?
  18. Brett Connolly, who I really wanted the Sabres to find a way to lure in, is having a very nice 14 goal season for the Panthers. He's gritty as hell too
  19. He had a pretty good mean mug going Sunday, when the refs decided to warn/ignore the Ravens' 12 men in the huddle rather than throwing the flag on 3rd and goal.
  20. I figured it was Johnny Gaudreau's toddler
  21. The flames just recalled a dude who's 5 foot 7 inches, and 140 pounds.
  22. I wouldn't be surprised if you overlapped with my professor haha. Edit: Nope, he's younger than he looks, a pretty recent grad
  23. My apologies that you do optics!! (I'm just kidding - I have an optics final exam tonight and it's my least favorite class I've ever taken during my physics journey)
  24. x would actually be the wave number k = 2pi/wavelength, so the scattering cross section (probability to scatter radiation from the sun into an area) is 1/wavelength^4. Which means that the scattering probability is higher for shorter wavelengths, so blue light gets scattered more readily of the visible components
