This is the encapsulation of why hockey is hard to analyze and thus so fun to watch. I try to keep it in mind (why I've gotten a lot softer on risto) but like you say, biases are unavoidable (don't you dare say a bad word about our nice boy Jack)

At one point in the third period shots were roughly 30-15 Ottawa, including a ~10 minute span where they took 11 straight. They shredded our d-zone coverage with their straight line speed. We got chances too, but objectively Ottawa was the better team on the night. They are built in a way that fundamentally frustrates us, similar to how we are always able to handle SJ no matter how good they are
