A 3 on 2 with Olofsson, Staal, Reinhart should not be harmlessly brushed into the boards. They hit the line in the same plane with the same (low) speed -

We are so bad at odd man rushes. Idk GA, I think you're seeing what you want to see. Dahlin has had better games in the recent past than hes having today. -

I believe Bales was the guy that supposedly turned Fleury around. -

Steve Smith gets a lot of stuff here, maybe it's deserved. But I don't know ***** about assistant coaching, or their impact on teams. The same people who hate Steve Smith tend to gush over the Hurricanes, and he was supposedly a big part in the development of their defense corps including Pesce and Slavin -
I know that the QB landscape has changed a lot even in the last 20 years, and I know that this year was very unique with no crowd noise to help defenses. It's still stunning that Josh put up a better QBR than Brady has had in all but 1 of his 20 seasons. He had more regular season wins than Brady had in all but 4 of his 20 seasons. He had more TD passes than Brady has had in all but 3 of his 20 seasons. He had a better passer rating than all but 3 of Brady's 20 seasons. And he had a better completion percentage than ANY of Brady's 20 seasons. Think about where Josh was 1.5 years ago from today, what the narrative around him was. Incredible

A 4 week Josh Allen injury would be a lot more palatable with Trubitsky behind him than Barkley. Thanks for the 2 years though, Matt. The Renegade dance is a classic bills moment

Bills sign Mitch Trubitsky lol

Jason was happily shopping ROR at the deadline, long before the July 1st/bonus stuff happened. Jason didn't want ROR around, even if Terry agreed or wanted him gone before the bonus -

I am stupefied that someone could believe Dahlin is a faster skater than Bryson. Bryson is in the top 1 or 2 percentile of skating speed I've seen in a Sabre uniform since 2005. Dahlin has to be comfortably in the bottom 10th -

He's a good skater in that his edgework and agility are elite. But his straight line speed is insaaaaaanely slow. He has probably given up more 2 on 1s/breakaways because of this over the last three years than the rest of the Sabres defensemen combined. -

Dahlin is definitely slow and it definitely is important, especially when you want him pinching and stepping up. We've been burned by many breakaways/ 2 on 1s that wouldn't have been if he could skate fast -
What role should Terry and Kim play in hiring a new coach?
Randall Flagg replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
https://www.wgrz.com/article/sports/nhl/sabres/paul-hamilton-take2-kevyn-adams-takes-command-buffalo-sabres-as-search-begins/71-f888795b-362f-4b3b-b2e8-4ec363650a38 I thought this was interesting. "I’ve confirmed that in a meeting with Terry and Kim Pegula, Adams outlined his vision for this organization, and the Pegulas put the team in his hands. Originally they gave Krueger the same type of power they gave Sean McDermott, and they found out quickly that it was an utter failure." This sounds like it was a creation of Krueger and Terry, and Adams convinced the Pegulas that this is not how things should work. "When Krueger wanted Chris Taylor gone, he brought in a college coach in Seth Appert, who had four winning seasons in 11 years at RPI. His record with the Engineers was 152-221-48, and he was fired after the 2016-17 season, when he posted a record of 8-28-1. He was hired for the Amerks because he came cheap and was no threat to Krueger." If this stuff about Taylor is true, that's insane. I think this article was linked elsewhere, this is where the PH quotes about players not caring about the history of the franchise came from. I wonder how he got this information, or if he's making some assumptions. -
