It hasn’t been 20 years, yet. 12 or 13, maybe, although it does feel like 40 years sometimes.

I wanted the 4 firsts for Vanek. And I was a huge Vanek fan at the time. You only needed to find one Vanek or better out of the 4 picks, and Edmonton was horrendous at the time, almost guaranteeing at least 2 of the picks would be high, if not more.
