I am still a Bills fan, somehow. Although, the past couple seasons I have secretly begun rooting for other teams. I made a personal pact a few seasons ago, that I would not spend my money or go to games, until the team showed they were committed to winning.
How do you go from a team that was so dominant in the 90s, to such a dismal display in the last 11 years? Where did the commitment go? When the Sabres have lousy teams, it's usually for only a couple seasons. The Bills are now reaching ridiculous levels.
Remembering all the hype and excitement of the 90s when playoffs were rolling around, RW had to have been making WAAAAY more money than now. Bills fans were spending like crazy So what is the issue?
It's embarrassing when people ask who your football team is, and you find yourself mumbling "the Bills." It's like having a disease that you are ashamed to admit to.
Luckily, I am more of a hockey fan than football, but I find myself watching more of the alternate games on TV instead of the Bills.
