The speculation over such a random, meaningless tweet, about an event that occurred almost 6 years ago, is evidence of how badly our season is going.

Skinner is most likely “mailing it in” at this point. The guy spent all year last season stapled to Eichels hip and bagged 40 goals. Signs a very long contract, most likely under the assumption he will be skating with Eichel for years. This season comes, and he’s banned from being with Eichel. He’s asked to score 30-40 goals with no real center, and no productive other winger, and when he doesn’t provide the stats, he’s demoted to a 4th line with AHL caliber players. How is he supposed to feel at this point? And people wonder why a lot of other players couldn’t wait to GFTO of Buffalo

I’m an RK fan. I know he’s trying to turn a pile of dung into a birthday cake. Yet so many of the decisions are becoming increasingly puzzling.

I’m trying Tondas. I’ve only missed I think 4 games since 1998. Im at my breaking point. I spend money on tickets, parking, food, jerseys, TV, and trying to raise my kid to love them, but I really feel like the people in charge really don’t care at all. I feel like the Sabres are now the winter car getting neglected and rusty with no oil changes, while the Bills are the shiny Rolls Royce. If the people in charge don’t care about the people supporting the team, then maybe I shouldn’t care either. I Am Duane.

I’m probably done with watching for the season at this point. The Skinner “usage” looks like my breaking point. 3rd on the active roster in goals, and barely gets a sniff at the end of the game, and no minutes in OT (but Erod is out there instead). You can either try to spark a “struggling” player by putting him on the top line (like we’d be screwing with a winning streak anyways), or relegate him to 4th line minutes. At $9 million a year...I’m not convinced anyone knows what they’re doing at this point. Oh, and I’m sure this will look attractive to any potential good free agents.
