FYI, Mitts goal was just amazing plays by three young players. Power lofted a neat pass to Benson from his own end to Pens blueline, Benson did something with it and made a nice pass to a breaking Mitts who scored on a sick backhander. Sweet!

Preseason, and Sabres ran a lot of young players through the wringer. Pens have been getting their core ready, we have been looking at young talent. This next week we will get the core all on the same page. The Sabres will be fine
