I love how you quote "fans" :rolleyes: . Many people view professional sports as an entertaining distraction from life, so they tend to view it in a positive lens. When one feels so negatively all the time, then their distraction isn't as fun. You missed the point. Regier has made plenty of bad moves. We can pick apart things that have actually occurred instead of making up BS that probably wont happen.

Putting Grigs on one of the top 2 lines this year could definitely make a difference. If he has a taste of success at the NHL level (he is bound to be around some goals playing with the two most skilled players on our team), it could help him be hungrier for the NHL when he trains in the offseason. I am critical of the job that management has done in handling Grigorenko's development so far, but the bolded is just BS.

Liger, your points are fine, but you haven't addressed the only thing I brought up. Are you assuming we'll be trading Vanek for a good NHL player(s)? Yes we need vets but we also need top line talent.
